RSA Authenticator (SecurID) Reviews
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it.
I don’t understand why would you replace something that’s working perfectly fine with something with so many issues. Now whenever I connect to my VPN, notification doesn’t pop up anymore for me to approve or reject the authentication. When I open the app also there is no any prompt.
Ugly
Your new icon super ugly, can i choose to have old one?
Slow and unreliable
Doesn’t use push noti and takes forever to “Check compliance” (2minutes to 5minutes)
Bring back light blue icon
Please bring back the refresh UI white color with blue background, we’re tired of the red and grey outdated look
Stable and fast
Great, stable and fast
Unreliable.
Unlike Google Authenticator, this product requires periodic resynchronisation. That is, every few months it gives invalid codes and users need to visit their IT Helpdesk. It's annoying and particularly worrying for what SHOULD be a very light, simple, single-task, Mission Critical Secure app.
Great tools
Easy to use ... But if can further integrate into iPhone VPN will be great, e.g just key in my password in SecureID, then it will turn on VPN; so that I dun have to copy and paste back & forth.
Time sensitive alerts
Add ability as a time sensitive alert. When phone is in do not disturb mode, you don’t see push notifications come thru. Allow feature for time sensitive alerts which would always allow the push notification to come thru even when on dnd.
Outstanding app - provides a great authentication experience!
Pleasure to use!
App works as it should, but could be better…
Is there anyway to enhance Apple Watch notifications so users can do code matching right from their Apple Watch?
Previously I was able to authenticate by tapping “approve” but ever since my organization switched to “code matching”, I can no longer authenticate from my Apple Watch. I have to use my phone. I’d be willing to update this review to 5 stars if the devs are able to get that implemented :)
Additionally I notice a slight delay at times when waiting for the challenge to show on my phone, up to 20 seconds at times. It doesn’t seem like long but when you’re sitting at a login screen waiting for that push notification to come through so you can get in, it feels like it takes longer than it should. This only happens about 10% of the time. At first I figured it might’ve been the work WiFi, but I’ve experience this over mobile data & other WiFi’s as well.
