Awesome app for training for a marathon
The Runna app has everything you need to train for a marathon. Not only are the running workouts well-developed and personalized to you, the strength training and mobility videos and workouts will help you make sure you are strong and stretched out enough to handle the increased running load of your training. Best app I have found yet! Highly recommend!
Great app!
If you need an app, that’s going to help you train for any run or you just need something to give you structure with a great plan that’s a versatile and is easy to modify when needed. I would use this app. I’ve tried lots of different apps and this is the only one that has all the features that I feel makes a runner successful in a training plan. also easily connect to Strava so all of your running can get updated.

The timer is bugged
Restarted my phone. Reinstalled the app. Timers still won’t work

I am terrible at coming up with plans for myself. I also am super busy and don’t have time to meet with a personal trainer. This app empowered me to get back to running and lifting!
Audio cues need work
I love this app and I’m really enjoying it, but have noticed that the audio cues stop working during runs, which is really annoying. I purchased the premium subscription specifically because of the good reviews of this app, however, however it is really difficult to try and run intervals on a busy road and have to stop and look down at your watch. Fix the audio queue issue and I’ll give it five stars.

I use it to help me for my Fall marathon and I like each week plan, there are explanations why we are running in the different miles and pace.
I am happy and excited that I use the Runna app for marathon training.
This app has turned my life around
Nine months ago I had a heart attack and ended up spending the better part of two weeks in the hospital. A couple of months after leaving the hospital, I walked 1/4 mile (400 meters) and was completely exhausted. I took a three-hour nap afterwards to recover. I jokingly referred to that as the start of my “ultramarathon career”.
I kept walking, then started running, and in order to better train downloaded the Runna app. It has been life-changing for me. The workouts are at the exact right level of challenging for me and have slowly gotten longer and more intense without overdoing it. I’ve been using it for the past 2.5 months and have increased my “long run” from 4km to 14km, which is more than I could have done BEFORE the heart attack! My muscles are tired but not in agony, my resting heart rate has gone down and my heart rate for similar runs has dropped from 140bpm to around 120bpm. But the best health benefit has been my improved mood and outlook on life. It has been truly transformational.
Lastly, I have to give a big shout out to the team at Runna. They are very professional and have been quick to respond to my questions and feedback. They seem like a really great group of people putting out a really great product.
I’m thrilled I bought it and have even given two gift subscriptions to my kids who saw my progress and wanted to try it for themselves.
Hands down the best app I’ve gotten for my iPhone.
