I love this dictionary. For entry level study is very useful, especially on feature like all conjugation written clearly (I guess this became less important as you learn better japanese).
But most of all, the kanji investigation, from scribble to dictionary, is life saviour

The best app ever
I cannot continue my studies without this app, I can say easily is the best app ever, I always use the flash cards I can make my own they also have vocabulary it’s just perfect!
Great with a small suggestion
It's a great app to navigate life in Japan. One small suggestion i have though for the UI: showing the furigana of a word on top of the kanji would make it easier to align the two. Right now there is the furigana next to the kanji (kanji is in brackets). I saw this at the Nihongo App and it makes reading the kanji faster :)
Loved it!
I love the features of this dictionary, especially categorizing vocabularies based on JLPT level.

Powerful
Best dictionary on iOS
Honestly it's one of the best dictionary apps around, period. I use this even when I've got access to a PC at times because of the ability to search by wildcards, write characters, etc. Definitions are kept up to date and often capture colloquial stuff others don't have, even though it's pulling from public dictionary sources. The example sentences are also often a lifesaver, although I wish there were more of them. Been using this app for 5 years or more now.
Love it, BUT could be better…
I have been using this app for about almost 5 years now, and it has not failed me. However, I really do feel that this app can be more proactive in helping us learn more vocabulary if they implemented a widget for the words that we save on the app. I feel that by being able to see those words on auto-shuffle amidst a widget would really boost my learning. I also really love that many of the words come with example sentences to see how the words are used in daily life.
Really great dictionary
Can search in Japanese or English, draw kanji, search in romaji, anything. Also gives partial matches to your search and other related things that contain what you searched for, and if, for instance, you search for something with a particle in it that you didn’t realize was a particle, it will recognize it and give you the base word and the particle. Also gives literally all of the different conjugations for literally almost every single word. Present, past, positive, negative, everything. Also has example sentences for everything. Really an amazing app. Highly recommend.
