The app's features include:
● Over 170.000 dictionary entries with readings and english meaning
● Over 6.500 kanji characters with stroke order
● Over 730.000 Japanese names, place names and institution names
● Over 147.000 example sentences with translation
● Instantaneous search results
● Character input by kanji and kana handwriting recognition. Recognition algorithm can handle wrong stroke order and small mistakes.
● When multiple similar characters are found, you don't need to redo drawing after each character - just long press to see a preview
● Search by kanji radicals (for example 日 and 月 will find 明)
● Wildcard search - "*" can replace any number of characters and "?" can replace any single character. Works both with English and Japanese words.

This reminds me of the time I used that really helpful Japanese learning app hehehehe
They really thought of everything
It’s got kanji lists, flashcards for remembering them, verbs conjugated to all forms, bookmarks, example sentences, the works. It feels like the developers asked themselves what they would want from an app like this, and put it in. This is absolutely indispensable!
Great app!
I use this in daily conversation with my family when specialised terms pop up and my vocabulary is improving as a result. You can tell a lot of thought went in to making this app.
My go to Japanese dictionary
I love this app. It’s simple to use, you can find exactly what you want very quickly. It gives you kana and kanji suggestions (perfect for if you’re not quite sure what you’re looking for) and pronunciation. No ads or purchase extras. ありがとう!

The best app ever
Have everything you need, even comes with flash cards to test yourself on words. Has all the kanji needed. It’s simple to search a word using the Kana keyboard or using the Romanji. Very happy with this app have been using it for years.
Pretty much perfect
This really has pretty much everything you could want from a dictionary, incredible piece of work. Fast and snappy and well designed with excellent features. And for free as well. I’m quite amazed that this persists. Here’s hoping you’re able to continue working on it dear developer! This has really become an important tool in learning Japanese in the last couple of years for me. Indispensable I would go so far as to say!
Amazing app
I haven’t tried any other Japanese dictionary apps but this one is fantastic. Example sentences are great, there is audio for pronunciation, you can search by kanji, romaji or hiragana/katakana, you can search by JLPT level or frequency. My only complaint is that when you copy words to anki the copy button also includes the formatting which is a little annoying. I would pay for this app so it is incredible that it is free and has no ads.
