Glitchy
I use this app to control my Galaxy Lamp. It’s full of bugs and glitchy af. I rarely get to the options, luckily the lamp remember my last used settings, so I don’t have to deal with the app too much.

Pure bs. Always updates, forgets devices every time a new update arrives, buggy, difficult to navigate, seems dubious. Bad feeling in general.
It is annoying that you can’t easily adjust brightness (dim) from the “widget”, you have to go to each lamp than choose colour to dim.
For some reason the developers have decided that the app can only be run in landscape mode. Why??
The Smart Life app offers a broad platform for connecting various smart devices in one place. However, its performance with smart locks, specifically the Gimdow A1 Max Pro, leaves much to be desired. While the app itself has a decent interface and functional features, the experience is hindered by the frequent technical issues with some of the supported devices. Pros: • User Interface: Simple and easy-to-navigate interface. • Device Compatibility: Supports a wide range of devices for smart home setups. • Control Features: Offers various control features to remotely manage devices (when they’re connected). • Notifications & Alerts: Keeps users updated about device status, though this depends heavily on a stable connection. Cons: • Connectivity Issues: The Gimdow A1 Max Pro frequently goes offline, making it unreliable for consistent access. • Bluetooth Connection Problems: Often fails to connect via Bluetooth, even with the phone nearby. • Frequent Restarts Needed: Occasionally requires users to restart their phones or even power cycle the lock by removing a battery. • Unreliable in Critical Situations: Due to connectivity and Bluetooth issues, it’s essential to always have a physical key as a backup, as the app may not work in urgent moments. • Inconsistent Support Across Devices: While the app performs well with some devices, smart locks seem to have compatibility issues that reduce their reliability and functionality. Summary: The Smart Life app is generally capable but struggles to offer a reliable experience with certain smart locks, like the Gimdow A1 Max Pro. For users considering a smart lock within this ecosystem, it’s crucial to keep a physical key nearby for emergencies. Until these connectivity issues are addressed, users may want to consider alternative apps or devices with a proven track record of stability.
Keeps spamming on about weekly energy report that can't be turned off. Used to be good but time to find an alternative!
I bought a package, 10 smoke detectors and a Hub. The Hub to allow centralized management via my Apple iPhone. Management is however limited to setup with poor User Interface (UI). Expected services like alarm or SMS, if triggered, is EXTRA service. Meaning, you’d better stay at home if fire alarm is triggered. The detectors will last until EOL of batteries before a new choice of Brand. Don’t expect any recommendations from me to friends or family.
Bad at showing where you have to click, the music doesn’t work, automatic tap doesn’t work, frustrating app to have it’s honesty the worst ever app
When i was jobbing i had my house alarm ringing but i got no notification. I got a notification from google home and HomeKit It is still a good app to keep your smart stuff like lights and cameras + ALARMS🙃
