If you accidentally connect to your 5Ghz wifi network when you first setup this app, you will have major problems using it. Unfortunately the developers don’t provide ways to check or change your network to 2.4ghz. Even deleting the app, or setting up new Tuya accounts don’t work. All my Tuya devices are now useless.
This app has a mind of its own. Some times it will feed my cat and sometimes not. This is very frustrating. I’ve had it almost a year now and there has not been a single update which makes me think it’s been abandoned. And has no support. Very poor build quality and very simplistic.
I have used this app for the last four years , and have over 16 devices on it. The only dis appointing feature the display does not rotate from horizontal to vertical as other apps do. Developer please fix
this is a great and convenient app alternative to grid connect. would’ve given it a full 5 star rating, but i’d have to knock off that last star for the reasons below. one problem i’m having is the lack of portrait display orientation which i need as my ipad mini is mounted in a portrait recessed mount serving as the hud for all my smart devices. please add this feature as an option as i’m not the only one in this situation.

I don’t have a problem with most of the functionality of the app however it seems the quite hidden “music mode” completely doesn’t work. I have tried going into setting and changing the app permissions so that it has mic access for the music mode however it doesn’t even have an option for mic access. Please fix/remove this broken feature. Also for people who are confused on where this so-called “music mode” is there is an option the the automation tab where you can make an automation to turn on music mode.
Use this app with all my Tuya hardware but needs background app refresh and more video doorbell options such as selecting monitoring zones
No support via the app! No way to report faulty or get help. Ridiculous! The vacuum cleaner doesn’t follow the map after about 3 months of use. It is technically useless now!
I have a water leakage sensor. The app logs us out after a while, and any important notifications such as a leaks won’t reach us, unless we make sure to log in every couple of weeks. This defeats the purpose of a monitoring system.
