Price!

I would consider this app if it was cheaper but as it stands is way too expensive for what it does. Alternatively, lista is a much cheaper option.

Brilliant app, brilliant service!

I’ve used Sofa on and off for about a year. Before today, I’ve never fully moved from my notes app, due to one particular issue with the payment system. Yesterday, I emailed the dev who overnight, significantly changed the way payments worked. I instantly purchased. Not only is the app great, the customer service was amazingly responsive. Yes the lifetime purchase is expensive, but in my opinion fully worth the money, particularly with the amount of work that goes into it. In future, I would love to be able to have different lists nested within the main lists (this might already be a premium feature, but I’ve only just started playing with premium) for example, my apps could be better organised into games, productivity etc. If you are using your notes app to save things you want to watch, read etc, do yourself a favour and use this instead. You won’t regret it.

I really enjoy it and I was happy to support the dev through uninvasive monetisation like themes. I wish we could write a small note when we add an item, like “recommended by X” or “from X blog” so I can keep track of the source. Really solid software otherwise.

Brilliant Idea, Very Poor a Execution

The app UI is very 90’s 1) once I am in the books section, adding a book + presents menu to choose books and other items like movies. 2) No way to record when you started reading book, when did you finish etc. 3) Also when done watching movie or reading book it goes to one single folder which has all mixed up. Terrible in times like now when you watching more movies and reading more books. Deleting it now but may download and use if app starts delivering what it should.

[update after dev response] Good app overall

Could be great though, one step at a time I assume. E.g., it’s tedious to add stuff - lots of taps needed to add one record, more than one could endure. Could benefit from either streamlined workflow or bulk addition. There should be an accessibility option to remove animations and visual effects (they are also somewhat distracting, at least to my taste). When adding to pile - shouldn’t ask for category, it’s called pile for a reason I assume. Same goes for when your already in a list. Otherwise - solid start.

Great work

Great work, love the improvements that the developer/s keep adding. Feels like its being done for themselves as well as us to use 😃
