Specialized Ride is your go-to app for recording bike rides, analyzing your cycling metrics, planning rides with friends, and cycling safely when riding by yourself.

BE SAFE ON YOUR RIDE
Have peace of mind on all your bike rides when you connect your Specialized ANGi sensor with the Ride app and enable Live Tracking.

If your ANGi detects a crash event where you’ve likely been knocked unconscious, your emergency contacts will be sent an email or text alert from your phone and notified of your location.

Live Tracking allows your emergency contacts to follow you along during your ride. Simply turn on ride alerts for an emergency contact and the app will automatically notify them when you’ve started a ride.

RIDE RECORDING & POST-RIDE ANALYTICS
Whether you’re training for a race or event, using your bike for commuting or getting around town, or to explore the trails with your friends, you can use the free ride recorder to track all of your bike rides.

The Ride app automatically tracks stats like speed, distance, time riding, and elevation. When you’re done riding, you can view the ride history and analytics tabs to see how your activity is trending.

We offer full integration with Garmin, Wahoo*, and Strava, so it’s extra easy to record rides and share them with your friends.
If you have a heart rate monitor, cadence sensor, or power meter connected to your Garmin or Wahoo device, you can see that data as well.

SPECIALIZED BIKE REGISTRATION AND WARRANTY ACTIVATION
Although you can record a cycling activity on any bike using the Ride app, riders with Specialized bikes can use the app to register their bike and activate its warranty.

COMMUNITY EVENTS & GROUP RIDES
Be on the lookout for community events, bike demos, and more on the community tab in the Ride app’s feed.

If you enjoy riding with others, you can join and create group rides in the Ride app. The group message board lets you communicate with riders who’ve joined the ride and keeps everyone informed.

When you’re looking for a ride to join, you can search for rides based on day, time, type, and distance.
If you want to create a group ride, you can import a route, choose an existing route, or create a route using the route planner.

ROUTE LIBRARY & ROUTE BUILDER
If you need inspiration for your next ride, the Ride app hosts an ever-growing global library of bike routes.

Additionally, we have an easy-to-use route builder tool that is housed on ride.specialized.com.

Once you’re done creating a route, you’ll be able to add it to any group ride that you plan. Riders interested in joining will be able to see a map view of the route, as well as distance, elevation, and whether the route is on road, gravel, or the trails.

NOTE: Continued use of GPS running in the background may decrease phone battery life

Very disappointing

This app used to be good but it’s useless now - it’s only records part of your ride , when you work so hard in a ride you need something more reliable !!

Great bikes, poor app

I bought into the mips idea, upgraded my helmet and added a mips unit . Downloaded the app which doesn’t work that well at all with mips. Poor integration with the wahoo app as the spec app often fails to connect to the wahoo and see the mips unit. Delete and reinstall and repeat- that’s said some the data grabs are great as are some other features but the integration aspect and functionality require work IMHO.

Can’t create account

Won’t let me create an account - enter email and choose a password, then says an account already exists. So try and click on forgot password and no email? Useless if you can’t create account

Confused

Looked like a great idea and with paying a premium for the turbo Levo I thought this was for me.. so I bought the lid, quickly became confused and gave up.. how can you make such quality products and have such great after care support but then get this so wrong... I created an account, linked my device, next day I decided to try it out on my first ride.. could I get Angie to work..? No..! I renamed it ‘Angry’

Can’t create an account

Utter rubbish

It will download but it wont create an account, rendering it useless. This is supposed to be an alerting service for emergencies. Ha! Useless.

Whenever I try to create an account I keep getting an error about needed to make sure my phone is connected to the internet.

Great

Had a problem with creating an account at first but now it works. It’s great to track everything and even better that you can set emergency contacts and it will alert them if I have an accident!

Useless! Can’t even create an account keep getting check your internet message. Internet working fine!!

Can not rely on this app

The only reason for this app is so it pairs with ANGI sensor. But it fails to send rides to Strava despite signing away your privacy to Specialized. First ride I used strava and specialized ride apps and they duplicated the ride. No issue you think because you can remove one from Strava. So next ride you don’t use Strava seeing as you want your loved ones to know when you started a ride with ANGI. However after pushing hard on several sectors to record PRs, find that the app will not send to Strava. Can’t export so you can import to Strava. So basically yet another tracker that can phone for the ANGI but not much other use other than drain your battery some more running two tracking apps. Further response from support: Thanks for reaching out. At this time our only option is to run both Strava and the Ride App, but our app developers are always making modifications (we may see a fix for this in the near future). I apologize for the inconvenience; I've forwarded your email to the Ride App team as well. I hope that this info is helpful. Seems after an initial chat to tell me I must be using the app incorrectly I’ve received no more assistance. WILL NOT BUY ANOTHER ANGI HELMET and will be taking this ANGI sensor off.
