Misleading sales techniques
I was interested in trying this app, I was quoted $65/week paid monthly ($260). I understand that AI would be used but as someone who has worked in high tech I was still willing to try it. The “matching agent” asked me a few questions and then said they had therapists for me to choose from but FIRST I had to pay the subscription fee... sketchy so I closed the app knowing the next time I joined they would offer me something to try and get me to sign up. Sure enough the next time I signed up they gave me a list of “therapists”. I chose one that I wasn’t sure about so I didn’t continue to pay. I opened up the app the up again and they offered me therapists again, I didn’t choose one because I saw I had a message from the “matching agent” that I wanted to read first. It was a useless message and when I went to look for the list of therapists to choose it was gone. I asked the “matching agent” about it and I was answered that I had to pay to see my options. I explained that wasn’t true as I had been offered to see them twice already. I spoke to customer service and they said it was a mistake I was allowed to see the therapists... that is nonsense because it is a common sales tactic to offer something to try and hook the sale. Anyway, misleading slaked techniques. You don’t pay through apple, you have to put your CC details in, this is what I would consider a scam and I wouldn’t trust them because their sales techniques are sketchy and there are lots of bugs in their AI. For $65 a week you deserve an honest product.
