Therefore I can’t use the service I want. Even if I close the app and restart, it takes me back to the wrong type of therapy where I left off. It won’t let me go back. Useless to me now.
Really like the idea behind this app - and the fact that one can continue discussions in between live sessions was a big change from traditional therapy - in a good way. But it really depends on the provider you get. My provider seemed to lose interest / had other priorities after the first week so there were large gaps and it became very sporadic so was unhelpful for me, personally.
I had the worst interaction of my life on this app so unprofessional and when I brought it to their attention they shut it off and expelled me from the app while I was trying to speak to someone about it they don’t give a crap about anyone’s mental health. Disgusting
I used this a couple of years ago but it has gone down the toilet since then. I signed up, payment form was completely broke and crashed the app repeatedly. Paid online instead. Got matched with a therapist and tried to fill in another form that also was completely broken. Customer support after a day told me to ignore the form (why can’t it be fixed?) so I did. Sent messages to the therapist and they magically took the next six weeks off. It’s basically a scam at this point as others have said. Avoid and find something else, maybe BetterHelp.
Tried to installed many times on different phones and still showing. Erorr403 Registration failed !
I download the app, paid £200 and regretted it almost instantly. They claim you can speak to someone but I got matched three times to people who had no availability for 3 weeks. I contacted customer service to get no response for 3 days. Wrote an email and got a response from a boy saying I could get a refund by clicking this link. Utter waste of time. If I could give it zero stars I would.
I turned to Talkspace after feeling like something needed to change during a really low point in my life. I have used Betterhelp in the past and found it pretty good, but I wanted to try Talkspace because they had a Black Friday sale. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for when it comes to discount therapy!! I’ve had to switch providers 3 times because the therapists assigned to me were unresponsive and two of them are on long-term leave!! When you are looking for (and PAYING FOR) someone to immediately talk to during a dark period, it’s very disheartening to be met with silence on the app. I was trying to invest in my mental health, but I think this attempt was a huge waste of money!
Horrendously overcharged, not at all as advertised. Was charged £309 pounds and didn’t get to speak or remote chat with anyone. No option for getting money back. This app is a total con.
Don’t be conned
For non US time zone users this is difficult to use due to the time difference. Many reviews said the therapists were back and forth and chatty. I got one reply each day to my message and three weeks in the therapist had offered nothing that could possibly be construed as help and has gone back to asking the same questions as they did in the first day or two. Waste of money.
