Data and Privacy

To make this, or any app like this, work well for you it requires that you share your health data. When you dig into the privacy policy there are no assurances that your information it secure and when you look up the App Developer there is little to no information about ONgo available at all. There are many benefits to be sure but the vagueness and hidden trading of my personal health data leaves me deleting the app.

As someone who was a casual runner in the past and looking to get back to running after years away (2 pregnancies and 7 years away from running), TRE has been wonderful for me! I never really understood what intervals or drills were, but now I have coach Nate talking me through it all - not just a chart online that doesn’t make sense. I also love the cross training and stretching. I feel stronger and bounce back from my runs more quickly. If you had asked me a couple months ago- before I found TRE and when I was just getting back into running - if I could run for an hour, I would have laughed. No way! But tomorrow is my last long run if TRE’s 30 day run program and I am set to run for 90 minutes and I know I can do it! So if you’re new too running or getting back into running and feel you could use some advice and support to be the best runner you can be, I highly recommend this App.

Been a fan of TRE for years. I watch the videos, take notes and put into practice as much as my 72 year old body can handle. The content is excellent and I've learned so much. I'm new to the App and understand the need to charge for premium membership but I wish there was more free programs or at least Senior discounts :)

This is different from every other running plan. As a Marathoner I was sceptical at first, but after spending time in the app and the programs. I can say this is a game changer. I am just starting out and will report back as I progress. So much has gone into this app and the programs. Love the San Fran set videos.

Awesome and helpful with few missing features

Such a great app whether you’re beginning a running journey or looking for some motivation, extra challenge, or wanting to improve all around as a runner. Great, updated videos, a wide variety of training options, and a pretty decent community.

I watched their YouTube videos before signing up for the marathon training. I’m very glad I did. Even though my race was cancelled, the structured training and the coaching I received in the program helped me immensely.

Though I love watching the videos by the coaches and the excellent information I find the actual app glitchy. It seems to need wifi when I am outside and sometimes the exercises are in the wrong order (or have the wrong time) and sometimes it does not actually record my runs. To be truthful I have not used the training app for about 2 months. I am running a virtual 1/2 marathon with another plan with hopes that they improve the functionality and I can try them without deferring to other plans in July.

First time really using the App while training for a Half Marathon. Following along with the actual required exercises (specifically for the Half), after seeing them demonstrated has helped me complete the sessions much quicker! I did find that I wanted to review the demos prior to starting the workout but then I didn’t know how to quit to leave the workout uncompleted! If you go to the end of the days workout, to the final page Session Complete you can’t return to the beginning, etc. The only option is to like/dislike 👍 👎 and press Done. Here, it would be helpful to have a Go Back option to any of the previous pages! It may just be me as I get use to the App! The wonderful thing about this App is that a Coach (Edward in this case) will send positive feedback to help inspire you further and to answer any of your questions about the routine or alterations to the Workout!
