App is Useless

Can not connect to do live view. Horrible. Returning camera due to this.

Need to disconnect my Apple CarPlay

Is this the app the “commercial company” can create with their efforts for their customers? First, to connect to my U3000 dash cam, I need to disconnect Apple CarPlay in my car. If not, the app is not capable to connect to the dash cam. The company provides another app named “”Thinkware Connected.” This one is worse! It is NOT working. Additionally, it’s PC/MAC Viewer for Mac user is not installed properly. Thus, I can’t use the Mac viewer. Selling expensive dash cams, but the worst service the company provides in USA! Very disappointed..

Does not connect to camera

Not sure the problem but when I select my camera from the list, it tries to connect via bluetooth not wifi. It won’t connect via bluetooth and wifi is not an option. Guess I’ll return the camera for something else.

Literally cannot connect with WiFi

Completely useless app. It won’t let you connect anymore. It used to, but not now.

Crap App and Camera

The app only ever stays connected to camera for about 10 seconds before disconnecting and I’m unable to access any of the files unless I physically remove the SD card from the camera and view on a computer. This was a complete waste of money don’t bother with this app or camera!

Wi-Fi issues

Can’t connect ever. Says password incorrect. Useless

Deceptive marketing

The marketing information says if you connected to the cloud you receive real time contact of your parked car. I tried for weeks to get the camera to sync to my phone and car hotspot. The camera says connected but the app says it failed. My cloud account does not show it connected. Call support. They said not to use the cloud to view incidents. They told me the only way to view incidents is via the connected App or to remove the memory card and view on computer. They also said unless it’s always connected to the internet, you will not receive real time notifications. Totally false marketing. Based on the support response, the cloud service does not work and the camera is not worth the price. I would look for something else.

Horrible

The application UI is horrible. Absolutely not user friendly. The data recovery for incidents is a nightmare as sometimes you see the video captured, but 9/10 times you don’t. The primary reason for these cameras is to capture data and retain it in the event of an incident. And this app and it’s respective components fail miserably at that. Building my own at this point because at least I know it will work.

Terrible app

Difficult to connect. Very slow downloads. Frequent app crashes. Unusable. Total trash.
