In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.
The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.
Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.
This War of Mine: Anniversary Edition
It's been two years since This War of Mine global release and we're still expanding the experience. This new free DLC, created especially for the Anniversary Edition, adds new characters, new locations to explore, and most importantly - a whole new ending, leading to a different outcome to the game. The dilemma though remains the same – how far will you go, to protect the ones you care about?

Графика в игре вообще не соответствует графике показанной на видео, только поэтому запросил возврат средств!!!
Лучшая игра, прохожу каждый год
Прохожу каждый год в депрессию и зимой. Играть актуально особенно сейчас, когда в мире тоже самое. Советы: производите самогон, спирт, бинты, сигареты. Сразу полностью защитите дом. С первых дней сделайте топор, порубите дома мебель. Помогайте всем, не убивайте, не воруйте. Ешь только когда сильно голодны.

Sound is glitchy. After upgrading my ipad, some sounds disappeared. Like knocking on door, picking sounds, and so forth.
Fix the bug
There is a bug in a shooting mechanic, it was once but it become more and more often. When I shooting with the gang it just buggy and throws me to the menu. Then I have to start the day again... Pls fix this, and I will rate this game to 5 (:

Помогите мне. Что за игра недороботанная. Я первые 2 персонажей выжывщих прошел. А теперь в игру не заходит. Я заплатил 800 тенге за такую недоработанную игру?
Attractive, touching story, but buggy DLC
Original TWoM makes you wanting to play it over and over again, although almost every corner of every location is familiar. The storyline is so life-like yet uneasy that leaves the feeling something could be done better and it becomes somehow important for you. However, The DLC suffers from both technical and story sides. In some interview on of the authors mentioned it was hard move to put his own child and let him die inside the game. But the way it is done is a kind of artificial, non-natural, the kid behaves like a puppet (even worse than adult characters). And in the current release there are a bunch of bugs starting from character script glitches and finishing by abnormal termination.
Bugs
Fix the bug with visitors. Sometimes game freezes when you don't have any supplies to give.
