In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.
The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.
Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.
This War of Mine: Anniversary Edition
It's been two years since This War of Mine global release and we're still expanding the experience. This new free DLC, created especially for the Anniversary Edition, adds new characters, new locations to explore, and most importantly - a whole new ending, leading to a different outcome to the game. The dilemma though remains the same – how far will you go, to protect the ones you care about?

Crahes a lot
If not for the frequents crashes (especially in the hospital), I would give this 5 stars. Seriously, if you hate crashes, do not buy.

Fantastisk
Dette er berre eit utruleg deilig spel! Endelig fann eg eit slikt søke/leite/lage/samle/trade/oppgradere - spel. Man blir forelska. Les ingen spoilere, ingen you-tube filmer eller anna. Berre spel og finn ut av alt sjølv. Du får ein intens følelse av å verkeleg måtte ta hand om bebuarane dine. Dei svelt, dei vert sjuke, dei treng omsorg og pleie. Er komen til dag 25. Einaste eg saknar er ein annan type lagre-prosess. Also I miss an update for iPhone Xr - doesnt quite fill my screen. Hope for another update soon
9/10 - highly enjoyable
This game is incredibly fun and at times very challenging. In some of the stories you will find that everyone is more or less useless and break down as soon as you steal an apple. While in other stories you have characters that are either mentally tough or simply extremely useful around the hideout. While you can't make your own stories like on the pc version, I still highly recommend it for when you're on a road trip or simply want to play a good portable game.
BUGS
The game crashes regularly, extremely annoying!! Please fix this problem, or at least make the game save during nighttime as well as the regular daytime

Spillet er et godt lagd utfordrende spill med bra grafiker og Story. Spillet er litt dyrt til og være et ios spill men det er 100% vært pengene.
The BEST game ever
It has it all, excellent graphics, amazing environment, moral and ethical dilemmas... But the gameplay is unique. The only game since I own an iPad (and I had them all since the start) that I play over and over again until draining the battery. The BEST game, period.
