In This War Of Mine you do not play as an elite soldier, rather a group of civilians trying to survive in a besieged city; struggling with lack of food, medicine and constant danger from snipers and hostile scavengers. The game provides an experience of war seen from an entirely new angle.

The pace of This War of Mine is imposed by the day and night cycle. During the day snipers outside stop you from leaving your refuge, so you need to focus on maintaining your hideout: crafting, trading and taking care of your survivors. At night, take one of your civilians on a mission to scavenge through a set of unique locations for items that will help you stay alive.

Make life-and-death decisions driven by your conscience. Try to protect everybody from your shelter or sacrifice some of them for longer-term survival. During war, there are no good or bad decisions; there is only survival. The sooner you realize that, the better.

This War of Mine: Anniversary Edition
It's been two years since This War of Mine global release and we're still expanding the experience. This new free DLC, created especially for the Anniversary Edition, adds new characters, new locations to explore, and most importantly - a whole new ending, leading to a different outcome to the game. Maybe if you like The Sims (I don’t).

Firstly the graphics don’t quite sit on the screen properly (iPhone Xs user here), and secondly I just can’t get into it. The game play or addictiveness isn’t there for me. However I can see the developers put in a lot of work and care etc but the gameplay just isn’t exciting to me.

Doesn't work

What a waste of money doesn't even start, just black screen and crashes instantly on iPad mini.

Do not buy

Can't even play..paid a small fortune for a title screen followed by continual crashing...well done on producing a complete waste of time...I'd like my money back please!

Keeps crashing

On night 8 and keeps crashing when I go to the hotel in new update

Do not buy this game. I like TWOM but this IOS version is broken. I have had a lot of crashes now and it happens at anytime. Please don't buy this game, I can't believe that at the price I paid that the game is not working properly. When the game crashes you are also reset to the day it crashed on and you lose all of the day's progress which is a massive pain. Hopefully you take my advice

First 5 minuets into the game and I broke into an old couples home and began to steal their food and medicine. the husband followed me up to their bedroom and I beat him to death with my fists as I left the house the old lady asked me where her husband was! I returned a few days later to scavenge the rest of their supplies to find the old lady dead in her chair. This game is awesome!
