So I maxed out my data usage. Then paid £5 for a one day pass because I need the GPS to work since I’m new here. It does not work. No data at all! It’s been 4 hours and it doesn’t work! When you tried contacting them with “contact us” it just takes you to the “Help” page and circles you around to the same thing. I tried sending a message through the forum finally. However I got a sorry no one is available to help you out at this time. Our hours are weekends 9am-8pm and today is Sunday 6pm! I’m out of words I don’t even need it anymore. Just gimme back my £5. I was lost and had to find another way to get home.
This app is so broken and buggy. When I try to login and send a password link to my email it never sends. Sometimes it just puts me into a log in loop of asking for my number and my email over and over again. The help chat function is VERY slow. Waiting ten minutes for anyone to respond to me. I had to go in the store in person to achieve anything. It also saved my old number in the app, even though that number was discontinued. So I was paying for a phone number that didn’t even exist. While it appeared my new number had no service. This app is so bad, I am considering changing phone services altogether.
Avoid at all costs
I used three before with no problem. Haven’t been using it since the pandemic and now I tried to login my account and was unsuccessful. can’t update either as my iphone 6 can only update to the ios version 12.5.7 and the app requires ios 14 or later. Do I have a buy a new smartphone now in order to use three?
Updated app today and unable to login, very frustrating…
Three’s app it’s basically an upsell tool, not geared toward the customer but toward their profits. There’s nothing this app offers that I can’t do on the Three website. Each time I go on the app to purchase an add-on for my PayG account, they offer me an expensive one (£35) in very large print instead of the £15 one I have always purchased. Then in tiny print at the very bottom of the page, is a link to view all add-ons. It is still difficult to select the tiny link, even on my large phone screen, instead of the link to purchase their expensive add-on. Also, beware of maintenance days when both app and website are offline. If you need to do something urgent on your account, you will have to wait until the next day.
Countless problems with Three. I realize this goes beyond the app but still, avoid Three at all costs. The entered my info incorrectly and made it impossible to fix, charged me twice using the wrong payment method. They directed me to the app which contains a ton of verbiage but doesn’t do anything useful. After I’d had enough, Three made it tortuous to leave and I’m still not sure I’m free of them. What a terrible experience!!
It’s useless if you cannot even get into the app because it says you have an invalid number. An hour messaging with customer assistance and he couldn’t help a bit. He’ll put in a ticket. This, as I see from other reviews, is not even a recent problem! Who the heck is working —or not working—on this app???
Spineless company pulling support for Chelsea FC. Stay away from this app and company. App is constantly freezing with poor user interface. Definitely recommend other providers.
