Offline music simply won't play unless there is a internet connection. Even though my playlist have downloaded, when I try and play a song it shows an error.  Uninstall the app and reinstalled it without a solution.  Tidal support have also been utterly rubish at helping solve this issue.

The sound quality is much better than other apps and it has every music that you could want. My only issue is having to reconnect it to my apple watch every single time, making it unusable on my watch. I switched away from tidal due to this issue as well as the app continually moving around my downloaded music. If tidal could fix these issues I would be happy to switch back.

Plays high resolution music files which is one of the reasons I went with Tidal, it’s the reason why I left Spotify. I like the fact that you can see the streaming bit rate when playing songs. Awesome selection of music and suggestions of other music based on my listening habits. Use Tidal Connect to stream to your amplifier, as using Airplay2 limits the resolution of the file.

Great sound when used with a good DAC. Quboz may have sound quality edge but not the best library. I’m into electronica and techno. Apple has a great library but not as good sound quality.

Love the service, good riddance to MQA. Makes buying dacs and streamers way easier not having to worry about mqa chips.

Love the lossless tracks on my system.

Great price structure and the pay the artist’s well compared to other services.

Unfortunately it doesn’t have as extensive library of extreme and obscure metal compared to Spotify.

The navigation isn’t as seamless as Spotify as well.

So I’m kinda stuck with both services at the moment. But well done tidal, you going in the right direction for audiophiles.

I was considering the move to Tidal for a while now. I downloaded the app and then went to create a family subscription until I found out that Tidal have made some unfortunate changes. 

Previously as shown to me by friends, they were able to access DJ option on a family plus subscription. 

Now it’s not possible. Only individual accounts can access that. 

I am not paying MORE than a family subscription for an individual DJ one per person. 

Think I would rather stick to Spotify and Youtube.
