It's quick easy to use and keeps me in line with my tasks.
App is very useful and versatile. However you are limited even in the paid version to a certain amount of tasks. What am I paying for?

I love the ease of use - just how easy it is to add tasks and calendar events. There are some real issues with it though - for example: if I put in a recurring event it will only show up where it’s just about to come up - rather than every time it’s going to recur. This creates constant problems as I rely on the app and double book things constantly because I can’t see recurring events into the future. I would love it (I think loads would!) if developers could fix this inconvenience - so users can see all of their recurring events on an ongoing basis - not just the most recent one. Thank you!
I'm very happy with most of the usage and the ease of transfer between my phone's, laptop and watch. The phone app just needs a few more options. For example, after a date for a task is set, the date cannot be deleted which can be frustrating. Same with location. Otherwise very happy.
It’s perfect if you want to be one of those clean girls. Like I’m one of them now😉But just get it and than just know how it feels
This app has changed my life. I could never stick at diaries, calendars, or task lists because they either didn’t give me the fidelity and control I wanted, or had too much and were too tedious to use and add tasks and events efficiently. Plus lists inside lists inside lists make me cringe. I wanted to be able to get an overview of everything very quickly. Nothing worked how I wanted it too, and nothing stuck. So I resigned myself to the fact that I would be hopelessly and irreparably disorganised forever, doomed to a lifetime of being late, forgetting events and/or the things I needed to take to them, even while being surrounded by a million productivity apps, sites, and gurus. Then one magical day a Jeff Su (shoutout) YouTube video popped up randomly in my feed, and featured a 30-second highlight of Todoist as one tool in a productivity/task tracking workflow. Something about the interface triggered hope in me, and having downloaded and used it for 5 minutes, it was love at first sight. The Boards! They were things of beauty. The text recognition for dates and times, genius. It was like someone had looked inside my brain and made an app for the way I thought and visualised. I will be a subscriber and evangelist forever. My whole life is slowly but surely being loaded into this app and I am still only scraping the surface of its functionality. The new Calendar view is an endgame, it was the only major feature I had wished Todoist had when I first subscribed. My only fear is that it may one day be turned off. To Amir and the entire Doist and Todoist team, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I want to see my calander in my Todoist. Until it can do that I won’t pay for it.
For some reason I can’t type anything in the app because the keyboard does not pop up and I can’t figure out how to get it to show. I’m using an iPhone 12 and have not had this issue before.
I had a really good time with todoist and I even upgraded to a pro plan because I felt like the app was really solving a lot of important issues that other systems were not addressing. However, over the course of the past year they’ve been refactoring and over hauling huge sections of the app and adding features no one was asking for. All this would be fine if the app was still functioning the way it used to. The sync bugs out, widgets stop working, the mac app throws random errors in the settings pane. The basic functionality of having tasks across devices that can be checked and marked completed barely works. Its just so sad to see another SaaS product that I depended on going through the ensh**tification wheel. Even the support page errors out when you try to ask for help with things. Something basic and reliable will suit me fine going forward heck even pen and paper is better than todoist at this point.
