Prehistoric app
This app has no iPad interface, no support for split screen, and most functions such as priming the auger, or even seeing a temperature history graph are not implemented. Furthermore they have no API like FireBoard does so I cannot implement my own interface in homeassistant. I hardly use the Traeger anymore because of these issues.
Beware before you buy a Traeger: there is no modern integration or graphs. I would recommend getting a good system like FireBoard to extend your Traeger or go for another brand altogether.

Iedere keer als ik de app open moet ik opnieuw inloggen. Verschrikkelijk.
App update is a step back
The old app was very functional, one could check the steps in the recipe all times. Now you have to exit your cook, find the recipe, and look at your step. Which is not user friendly at all.
I love my Traeger though.
Recent upgrade van Traeger Ironwood
Na wat problemen met een eerder model, heeft Traeger Nederland ( na 1 jaar) kosteloos een nieuw model IronWood885 bij ons neergezet. Dit is wat je noemt SERVICE.
Wij zijn er tevreden met deze unieke pellet BBQ, de mogelijkheden zijn eindeloos….echt Top!!!!

App does not work
I am unable to connect my grill. Gets to the last step where I name it, and then the grill is never in my profile.
Does not work
I have tried to connect multiple times. It goes through the entire process and asks for me to give my grill a knickname as the final step. Then it just goes back to the Home Screen and shows I have no grills set up. Very frustrating.
WiFi never works
If you planning to buy this to pair with your phone trust me don’t raven costumer service won’t help you trust me
Temperature
App would be perfect if there was a setting to switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and a setting to switch to grams. This would help not having to convert the recipies.
