Only the connectivity seriously lets it down otherwise it’s legit

Needs temperature graphs

Good app, but needs temperature graphs. Come on Traeger, tracking and predicting progress is an important part of smoking.

App all gone wrong

The new app is awful, it just does not work. Since they changed it can’t even load a recipe on the app or control from app

Ok so the problem I’m having with the app is that when you down load a recipe to the grill the settings are completely different to what it said when you read what todo. For example I’m was doing bbq beef short ribs. Now the read along said to put the grill to 225f / 107c and cook until internal temperature gets to 160f / 73c. The problem is that it set the grill to 75c and puts the internal probe to 95c. Now the 95c shouldn’t be until the 2nd step but the app only shows step 1 of 1. So all the temps are wrong and if I change the internal temperature to 75c it will jump back to 95c This isn’t the 1st cook the app has done this but with the last time I hadn’t noticed and things got ruined. I like the feature but don’t have it on the app if it doesn’t work. I have no problem setting it all myself don’t get me wrong but don’t have it if it doesn’t work. Not sure if it because I have my settings set to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit but that shouldn’t make any difference because the recipe has both temps.

WiFi Connectivity Setup & Reciepes

The WiFi setup is not good. With the grill 2ft from the router it has trouble connecting (tried it with 3 different router tech) and often the recipes have the wrong temp or duration when you ‘cook now’, requiring manual intervention. Nice idea, great marketing, but the features need more testing and attention to detail before deploying.

Hi, I had never heard of Traeger but bought it because I didn’t want a gas bbq and it looked cool in the shop! When I got it home my step kids thought I was way cooler than I really am because I’ve bought a Traeger grill! Thank you Traeger for making a 55 year olds day! Cheers Shaun

They are supposed to have excellent service and back up,they have more.Had a recurring problem with the electronics which at first they thought was the fan.They did all they could and then decided to ship me a replacement of my Timberline 850 to the later model 850 D2.Absolutely amazing service and can’t recommend enough.

It’s does not work and support are useless

You can’t add your grill, just google wifire WiFi issues will tell you everything you need to know

Unable to connect to wifire, have been through the setup over numerous occasions, initially connected, with hen fails to connect on subsequent uses, so frustrating as I can see the benefits of the APP Steve Gain

Easy simple and great to use

So many supposedly easy installations are a nightmare but this app works very well and the recipes are excellent Highly recommended 👍🏼Keep up the good work Traeger
