I have a request for my membership but the system sends me back and forth with chat bots, put at least an email address so that we can find a person to talk to.

I think the app interface is very intuitive but the app keeps crashing. First while setting up my profile, causing me to have to do the same steps several times because it crashes all the time. And now also in the midst of writing a petsitter back, so having to rewrite the messages again and again. The service otherwise is great, just would help if the app doesn’t crash 6 times in 5 minutes

Since the latest update the dashboard page no longer opens. The rest works fine

I was surprised how fast I found great house and pet sitters and no complaints about ease of use of the app.

The app works well but it’s a pity there’s no iPad version, browsing on a larger screen is far preferable.

I do love this site, have met some awesome people and had good luck with the sitters we have had, also think it is good value to join. If I was able, I would actually enjoy house sitting for others, it is an excellent way to see the world!!! BUT there is a large hole in the “looking for a sitter” process. Sitters are supposed to be marked in green on the dates they will be available. When a Home/Pet Owner does a search with the dates that they would like to procure a sitter it brings up all sitters that are even NOT available. The only ones it appears to leave out are the ones that already have a sit during that time (have those dates crossed off already). This really is a huge pain in the rear and can cause you to spend hours looking and scrolling through everyone’s page. Surely after all these years of running this site the developers would have been able to do a sort on those important credentials? That one fix would make me rate the app with 5 *****. Thanks

I absolutely love this platform and had taken full advantage during my travels. Two things to improve, the search tool sometimes shows us a different home even though we are clicking on a specific one on the map. Also, the messaging system has a delay so sometimes I miss the opportunity to respond quickly and not be the selected one since I received the messages hours later and host has communicated and chosen other candidates.

It seems like a good opportunity at first. But you are paying to do labor. You will be working to take care of someone’s home and pets for free. And the owners are usually nice people, but they feel that they deserve the highest quality of care without paying you a dime. If you don’t want to use the app for a bit because you don’t have any travel plans they will delete your inactive account and all your reviews so you have to start over with nothing. It’s ridiculous. Use Rover instead or any other service where you are actually getting paid. The people running this app act like they are doing you a service, but really they are just pocketing all the money off your free labor. And you have to pay them for membership. Every if you never get accepted on a single booking. Because being chosen is not guaranteed at all. Screw this app and all the people behind it.

Honestly such a wonderful app I have really enjoyed it! Great for people who love animals and love to travel

The service is great. I was in software my whole career and it’s clear that the developers only care about on boarding and background check. Using the app and communicating is terrible. Filters do not allow for effective matching as you get out of region weird date ranges and when applying for a sit, the text box closes, and you can never edit it again. Forced to restart every time any edits. The developers need to use this app versus focusing on making clean API’s for on boarding.
