We had a great time taking care of Rory and Neko. It was so much fun playing and bonding with them. The house was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub. The area is beautiful with a lot to explore, and we especially loved the rafting. We are going to miss our new little four-legged friends.

Extremely disappointed with the poor decision by the Development Team, probably because of $$, to keep a blown up version of the iOS iPhone display for the iPad, rather than create a nice version to be used in Horizontal Mode (as all other apps do).. on the iPad.. The app developers and/ or the decision-makers, fail to understand that a great many folks devoted to Apple products invest in the iPad, as well as iPhone, and Apple Watch, because of their seamless integrated usefulness. And thus, they do expect the apps they download to their phones to be oriented to the iPhone and the apps they download to their iPads, to be seamlessly integrated, AND that the iPad apps are oriented in the Horizontal position. All users of iPad (with the rare exception) use their iPads in the horizontal position. And, they pay a lot of money to have this super fantastic setup, and they expect the apps to work really well. Err, umm.. I know this all sounds super entitled, and it is, but for me in particular, I cannot afford a big swanky computer system, I use an iPad as my main computer, and my iPhone is an older version that will stay in place until it is no longer supported.. so I’m not one of the super affluent folks, but I do need and want the apps to work well, and to be on board with creating good apps with proper orientation. it seems a good idea for This App to also jump on board and create a Horizontal Version of the App for iOS tablets (aka iPad). For me personally, it is not possible for me to change the orientation of my physical iPad just for this one app, while working away on other things in the horizontal mode, so I must use the app only in my phone. A strict limitation, and I’m sorry for it. Giving 5 stars, not to drop down the overall rating, but I do hope the developers and the owners of the membership, see this and re-consider their decision, and throw some effort at making the tablet for iOS (aka iPad) version a proper horizontal display. Thanks.

The good news is that THS must have more people registered than the other pet sitting web sites. So you get lots more applicants. However their website is very difficult to use and you can’t get help from a live person. Only a machine. Very frustrating.

No money exchanges hands but you do get new friends, furry and human. Support from Trusted Housesitters is immediate , professional and empathetic. World Online Forum for members to exchange ideas and ask questions to better your experience. Meet up with other host and Housesitters in your host country. Keep up the good work TH. Highly recommend.

We love this app. Allows us to travel without the expense of accommodation. Both sides are well vetted and insured through the system. Highly recommend.

Excellent in every category

I've been using the app for 5 years and many things have gotten worse since then. The number of references I have is wrong and this is terrible to get new places. It appears that I only have 3 reviews, but I actually have more than 30. I have already contacted them and nothing has been done to resolve the issue. The app also freezes often. The limit of 5 applicants for each opportunity also makes it very difficult in busy places like Costa Rica, for example. They also have 2 types of plan and mine is neither because I joined a long time ago. As I invited a lot of people, I got a lot of free months and as a result I ended up with a plan that no longer exists. I also complained about this and they did nothing about it. This is the prize we earn for getting more than 20 (paying) subscribers to the platform. I hope the THS listen the users and be fairer to everyone who uses the platform.

THS has provided us the key to open multi-faceted adventures. It offers the most secure platform - both the app and the vetting process. The quality and truthfulness of owners and sitters is a hallmark amongst many similar offerings. Through THS we have made friends around the world - both human and their pet companions. The quantity, variety and scope of the offerings far exceeds any other similar program. The App is well organized and user friendly. The ability to assess and comment from both the owner and sitter’s perspective is an excellent quality control mechanism which maintains the currency of THS. THS is our jewel in the world!

We have been using THS for five years now and love it. The concept is amazing and the site is First Class. We have met some wonderful people and pets through the sites and have always had a five star experience.

It was our first time using Trusted Housesitters. Was only for 4 1/2 days but was great! Sara and Sebastian met us an hour before we left so I could introduce our dogs to them, show then where everything was. I felt comfortable with them.
