Excellent for ordering when it works but has been garbage lately
My Staff and I use the app on a daily basis, but lately it has been crashing. We can’t use the UPC scanner anymore, without the app full shutting down. Bug Fixes needed, but overall a great business tool.
I never leave bad reviews, but this app constantly crashes or loses my order when I place it.
Constantly has “system error” every time I try to go on. Takes forever to load, and we can’t tract our deliveries properly. Shows our deliveries as “delivered” when they aren’t yet delivered.
Extremely laggy i receive 9 system errors at random it seems. If I didn’t need to: I wouldn’t use this app, like the title says; “barely useable” but it still gets the job done.
Fine for ordering food, though I prefer the desktop version for that. Delivery data is useless. I have the food delivered to a commissary kitchen, where I do not otherwise spend much time. The app apparently uses truck location tracking data (as opposed to an input of any kind from the driver) to determine delivery status updates. It will often report my food as having been delivered when really the truck may have just stopped or driven nearby (and may not be planning to drop for hours). It also reshuffles the order of delivery and bounces the times around throughout the day based on the same bad data. I switched to US Foods largely because I thought the way the app appeared to work was superior to Sysco. It even seemed to work pretty well for a while. I don’t know if something changed over time, but it has become completely unreliable - making delivery days my most difficult days of the week, as I am completely unable to plan for or around delivery times. It is terrible & it seems like it should be so easy to fix. If there was a driver input, where he/she checked in and out of his stops and could arrange his delivery order as needed within the app (thereby letting me know) instead of relying on gps tracking, it seems like the problem would be solved. Please fix this!
UPDATE:::: (Months later, app getting slower and slower and slower. As a 18 year vested customer with US Foods I recommend firing the app writer and getting a new one. The money I spend with US is not being spent well. ) Apple should be offered 0 stars for products like this. App is incredibly slow. No need for pages, especially having to wait for next page to load… and load…. Does not show purchase history without opening 4 pages to see when the last time this item was purchased. Overall, not impressed when these corrections could bring the app up to date with other food vendor apps.
App crashes constantly and will not allow searches half the time.
Terrible App, take forever to load . I have to delete and download the app back and forth to make it work .
