Suddenly Awful!
I downloaded this app at the beginning of the year and have used it for multiple flight bookings, it worked perfectly all those times!
Suddenly on my most recent booking, after booking the flight and picking seats etc, it has stopped working. It won’t load up the page with the info my upcoming flight so I can’t make any amendments to that flight. I have tried deleting and reinstalling and now it won’t log in at all but I can log in on web browser onto the VA website. Very disappointing.
Broken
Don’t know if it’s just my account but this app has a massive problem with infinite loading spinners. The first two tabs (selling you stuff) work fine. The next two tabs (supporting your journey once you’ve paid) do not work at all. As an app developer I know it’s probably the creaking backends rather than the app but at least handle failures gracefully! Virgin Atlantic, please fix!
Dreadful- how can this be released to customers?
This app has serious bugs that prevent it from being used.
The app hangs on startup with a spinning wheel.
If you select My Account from the menu option you can force a login but should you move away from My Account you can’t get back in.
I don’t understand how the software developer has allowed this to be released and then not do anything to resolve the issues.
There are multiple complaints. I would be less upset if Virgin sent out an apology and stated that work is being done to resolve the problems but there is nothing, which leaves you feeling that nobody is looking out for the customers.
I thought BA was poor when it came to information systems but Virgin takes the prize - very disappointed and fast losing the will to bother.
Spending money with a company like virgin should not be this stressful, require so much repetitive effort and leave you feeling like you are not valued or cared about.

So slow to load
I can’t believe I’m saying this but this app is less usable than BAs! So slow to load account details, check-in on code share doesn’t work and it constantly takes you out of the app to slow webpages not formatted for mobile. Come on Virgin Atlantic surely you can do better.

This App is so disappointing, for such a renowned airline you’d expect more! I have had the misfortune of using this ap since the start of COVID and blamed it on that but now there is no excuse - it’s dire! Come on Virgin sort it out! I can’t even log on any more!
