Wallet: Budget & Money Manager

Wallet is by far the best personal finance app I’ve used — so much so that I bought the lifetime license. It’s reliable, well-designed, and fits my needs perfectly. However, the lack of a public API remains a major downside. I choose not to connect my bank accounts and track all transactions manually, which I’m fine with — but without an API or at least proper iOS Shortcuts integration, there’s no efficient way to automate the process. BudgetBakers has repeatedly stated that the REST API was removed “temporarily due to technical reasons,” and that it will return in the future. But this same message has been shared for over two(?) years now, without any real clarity or visible progress. As a long-term paying user, I would really appreciate more transparency — or better yet, a real solution. This feature would take Wallet to the next level. Can you please share a concrete update or timeline on the return of the API? Is its development actively planned, or has it been put on indefinite hold? Also, if the API is not coming back soon, are there at least any plans to introduce proper support for iOS Shortcuts to enable some basic automation? A clear answer would be greatly appreciated. Aplikácia super, len škoda, že medzi slovenskými bankami nie je FIO.

The main feature of the app does not work. I cannot sync or create a new synced account.

Appka by pre mňa bola dokonalá, ak by sa doplnili/opravili dve základné funkcie. Prvá je, že transakciu nie je možné rozdeliť do viacerých kategórii. Druhá je, že appka nevie spracovať vrátenie peňazí. Napríklad ak zaplatím za skupinový obed a zvyšok členov mi pošle peniaze späť na účet, viem takýto príjem nahodiť ako kladnú položku do kategórie výdaju, avšak nezobrazuje sa korektne v štatistikách. Obe funkcie má veľmi dobre zapracované napríklad Fast Budget, u nich mi zasa chýba synchronizácia, ktorá je veľmi chaotická. Prosím vývojárov o zapracovanie rovnako ako to má Fast Budget. 🥰😇 Ďalšie funkcie, ktoré by boli super: ak by sa dal nastaviť predpokladaný cashflow v budúcnosti, možnosť exportovať graf do PDF, krajšie ikony, lepšie grafy. Inak fajn 😊.

I haven't been using the app too long but was quite satisfied with it. It suited my needs better than many other apps and the bank syncing option was very helpful and working well. My trial was ending yesterday 15th November and I naturally started my early subscription. Coincidence or not, after subscribing, the app stopped syncing with the bank! I followed the instructions in the app's help pages but nothing works. I then decided to submit a ticket via budgetbakers.com only to realise, after submitting the ticket, that they have no way of knowing who I am and how to contact me back!! There were no fields to add a name, email address or a phone number! At this point I just want to cancel the subscription and get a refund 😠

The UI is really unnecessarily complicated for quickly getting any information out of it. The sync with bank accounts does not always show all transactions, making it useless as you loose the correctness of the overview when you don’t have everything. Would not buy again and would not recommend. Its a pity as I have multiple accounts, I was really looking forward to this app and believed it is the one that will help me have a better overview of my spending, the purchase was the most unnecessary spending :(

zatiaľ aplikáciu používam krátko, funkcionalita vyzerá byť super, možno by sa dal trochu vylepšiť na niektorých miestach dizajn, ale to je asi len taká moja esteticko-perfekcionistická deformácia 😅 najviac mi však od začiatku vadí taký detail, že aplikácia nie je poriadne preložená do slovenčiny. niektoré texty sú v slovenčine a niektoré zase v angličtine, je to asi tak pol na pol, dokonca niektoré položky s rovnakým textom len v rôznych kartách majú odlišný preklad, čiže to pôsobí trochu amatérsky a nedokončene. určite by mal užívateľ lepší dojem z používania, keby sú poriadne preložené jazyky, ktoré aplikácia oficiálne podporuje, prípadne bolo možné aspoň zmeniť jazyk, napríklad do čisto angličtiny, prípadne češtiny, ktorú verím, že ako česká firma, máte poriadne preloženú 😊 keby sa dalo, tak si to poprekladám aj sám, prípadne vám môžem poslať snímky obrazovky miest, kde chýba preklad, s priloženým prekladom, ak by to pomohlo 😅

I miss the VUB Bank sync. Its a large Bank in my country and there is no synchronization. Why?
