I’ve been using Wally for more than 5 years and it served me well. Loved it… Until the new upgrade. It’s been nothing but pain. Can’t edit dates. Painstakingly uploaded merchants have disappeared. Now it refuses to record and show any new transactions since July. I’ve lost my records. It just stopped working! Next!
hey this is getting very annoying, the app auto log out for unapparent reasons, what make thing worse is every time it takes few minutes to sync again after login! this made a simple task like add expenses taking longer time than it should be, seriously hamper user experience 👎
The old version of this app has been very simple and intuitive to use, it met my needs for many years, easy to use interface for tracking expenses and it was user friendly. Then one day they decided to introduce this new version of the app Wally Next and the interface became very clunky. I managed to find a way about it but now they updated it AGAIN with fancy schmancy Wally GPT, but I cannot even do the most basic thing - logging my expenses!! Took me 5 attempts and it would not log my expenses. 😤 There is literally no point to this app anymore, if anyone has a better more intuitive one to introduce please share, because I’m abandoning ship on Wally.
New transactions are not being recorded, transactions I delete continue to be on the app, amounts don’t tally (I viewed my 3 months of travel spend, which is approx $7k but the app summary says $20k?!) - this is a nightmare! I signed up to be a lifetime member but the app is not working up to standard.
I’m sad to have to say goodbye to an app I’ve been using for the past 2 years or so, but the new interface has been really difficult to use and buggy. I lost all my previous records and I have no idea how to get it back. I’ll probably give it another shot in the future if there’s updates.
Despite logging in and out multiple times over the span of two weeks, my bank info never synced/updated. Also, it’s strange that Wally has zero service support. It’s website has no info on how to use the app and there is no way to search or ask for help.
Updated the app version when you promised the app was better without less bugs now. But I cannot even edit a transaction or add a new one. It is still loading when I clicked on “edit” or “+”…
I’ve been using this app for 10 years but the recent update made it so unusable. It’s buggy, kept signing me out, my recorded expenses are missing / delayed, and it refuses to record in the currency of my setting. The UI font size doesn’t match my display settings so the words disappear. It fails to record my created merchants too.
I’ve been using this app for a few years. Your recent upgrade a week ago has suddenly made my account inaccessible and useless.
I seldom give my review to apps but apparently WALLY new upgrade is simply disappointing. The new interface is so poorly design (eg small button, scrolling category which make it hard to navigate) and annoying as it keeps asking you to login and the loading took ages to complete. Thinking of dumping this app altogether. Normally new upgrade comes with good feature, but the new AI chatbot is simply not exciting.
