WASH-Connect

Beware that to use the Wash Connect, you have to fund your account in increments no less than $10. Of course this is by design, so they can make interest on the balance remaining from a few dollars of wash fees. In my case on an iPhone 14 and the latest version of their app, if would not connect to washers or dryers. And then when I went to get a refund for the $10 they made me pre-fund, the app would not allow me to complete the refund process. Broken app, broken machines, scammy business model. Beware.

Such a bad app. Cant add card wont work.

Will only accept US phone and Credit cards. You can get a card dispensed at the hotel but they’re too stupid to fill the card machine up.

This service is so good. Can monitor washing drying time from apartment. Can top up wash funds with ease. Makes this chore so easy to do

Like the other reviewer, the fact that the app will only accept a North American phone number is a shortsighted deficit. You do get tourists who want to do their laundry! Thankfully our Airbnb host was available and let us send the signup code to her cell phone.

Maybe the app works but it doesn’t for anyone without a US phone number or credit card. I have to drive around to find a good old fashioned coin operated laundromat because it’s too dumb to realise not everyone in the universe is American (and for a 3 week trip I’m not getting a SIM card - the cost is weirdly high).

I much prefer using this app to going to get quarters to do my wash. The app makes it so easy, and it works smoothly. I haven’t had any problems with it.
