The app is ok but investments have lost money which is much worse than my other investments over the past few years. I would have been better keeping it in a cash ISA
It would be great if we could read and get rid of notifications in the app rather than browser. Learn from Ramp
Switched to Vanguard after nursing poor performance over years with Wealthify. Returns are not guaranteed but constant break even or losses is not acceptable.
Been with Wealthify for around 3 years and have lost plenty of money. A real bunch of amateurs, go elsewhere, it will be a wise decision. They raised a complaint in my in box after I flagged my shocking returns. Despite this I never even got a response. No doubt their response to this 1 star review will their usual ‘please contact Customer Care’ who will do nothing. AVOID !!
Nice interface and decent functionality. A bit frustrating that some pages (eg messages) takes you to a webpage which itself has a bar encouraging you to use the app (from within the app). And the app is showing an errant notification badge even though I've now read the message it was pointing me towards. Big pet peeve -please sort that out
Awful app, clunky and annoying. It is most likely a slim down version of a website not a native app.
The system allows you to “add contributors” to pay in to a child’s account. These contributors can’t, however, pay the money in directly. They have to sign up for a Wealthify contributor account. That’s where it then falls apart. Once they’ve done that, and made a payment, the system rejects the money as it doesn’t come from the “main” contributors account. So the contributor has to then send it to the main contributor who then sends it in to their account. Ridiculous. And the “help” function was a “we can’t talk to you”. I would avoid this if you don’t want the stress of dealing with something that has been “over-engineered” resulting in a user experience that isn’t much good for anyone over 25.
App is supposed to be award winning and yes it is well designed from a presentational perspective. But try using it you see it has been designed by amateurs and not user tested. For instance, inviting grandparents to pay into a child’s junior ISA is supposed to be seamless, but instead it creates complications and asks for codes that don’t exist. Massive let down: don’t fall for the hype.
Recent redesign seems like a very backward step. The styling doesn’t look anywhere as nice as before. App still works fine though. Shame the investments don’t seem to keep pace with the market.
