## Wiser Home Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Ant Farm"
Daily bugs and connectivity struggles, really stressful to use even when connected to your devices.
-- MCroco, 2025-12-29

### **--- "App update"
Since the update the app seems to act very slow
-- Johns fender, 2025-12-26

### *---- "Stay away"
After having the heat pump installed it was great for a few months but unfortunately wiser products are poorly made and very bad quality. Stay away with anything with WISER connected to it
-- Gaz.18, 2025-12-24

### *---- "Has some issues"
22/12/2025 - connection errors all day today. Solid red light on the hub which apparently means cloud connection issue but seemingly that means even local connections are broken. Absolute incompetence. And it’s suspicious that these issues seem to always happen in the dead of winter when you most need the hearing to work. I’ll be looking for an alternate solution soon because this is getting ridiculous.

22/11/2022 - Been finding the heating in my bedroom has been turning itself down after sunrise and waking up to a freezing room. You need to allow switching off eco mode per room. I've had to switch it off entirely because of the aforementioned issue. It would also be nice to set up multi-room zones and rules, e.g. if heating is requested by room X then also heat rooms Y and Z.

20/01/2022 update - Internet went down today and it's still down. Unlikely to be working until at least tomorrow when an engineer is scheduled to come out. WiFi is fine yet I can't connect to the Heat Hub. This is unacceptable. I thought the Wiser system was supposed to be able to work without an Internet connection. It's bizarre that it can't work without it. I have all my thermostats locked as I don't want the kids to tamper with them so I have no way of controlling heat. What a shambles.

Manual temperature control slider could do with some tweaking. It's too sensitive. Make it consistent with the temperature picker in the scheduling UI.

Loading spinner needs adding when opening the app as it updates the room temperatures. Need spinners in some other areas of the UI too.

Keeps nagging me to switch on Bluetooth since the latest update (April 2021). Not happy with this at all.

### *---- "Disappointed"
Very disappointed. Moved into a home with two wiser thermostats and was very excited about the possibility of being able to control the heating from my phone. How wrong I was. The app is constantly telling me that my devices are offline - when I am standing directly next to them and they very much are not. I go to set a schedule and then it copy’s to the whole week instead of just one day or I cannot change any of the schedule sometimes. Lastly I am constantly being told to update the firmware on one of the devices and when I go to update it the whole app crashes and goes off. Hugely disappointed in what this app offers compared to what it should/is advertised to offer.
-- EllieA98, 2025-12-22

### **--- "Missing basic features"
Missing basic features, in particular “away for X hours” or “away for X days”.
-- Hakeyco, 2025-12-13

### **--- "Unreliable"
You really need to sort this dreadfull app out, I’m sick of setting my heat to a certain temp, then within a short time I notice heating on and temp has changed itself, it’s shocking with the Alexa app, I asked it to be set to 15 tonight, then when laid in bed heard heating pipes banging and it had jumped back to 21.it's meant to save money, not spend more
-- Thebob34, 2025-12-11

### **--- "Spotty connection"
Great when it works. But seems to be less than 50% of the time. I wanted it so I can warm the house before I get home but it can hardly ever find the hub. Always says device is offline.
-- defoeboy, 2025-12-10

### *---- "Wants too much information and doesn’t work anyway"
So complex to use - the app wants your name, email address, country, home address. This is too much - and then it just wouldn’t recognise my thermostat.
-- Jibinib, 2025-12-09

### **--- "Not the best app"
I have to open and close this app at least 7 times to turn my heat on or turn it off! Devices are never in range but could be stood directly next to the box on the wall!
