Definitely not worth getting a subscription, no matter how much you love podcasts. The app loads very slowly and has started doing a new thing where it crashes every couple minutes

Excellent narration and gripping and sad story. My dogs are enjoying the lengthy walks I take enjoying the stories.

No option to listen unless you commit to paying. Doesn’t tell you until you have been through the signup process

Title says it. Constant crashing, putting the app in the background often makes it refresh, and it consumes (in the background!!) more battery than any sound-producing app has the right to. I can run Audible or Music or Apple Podcasts for hours on only a few percent, but this app chews through a full charge in about two hours. I only use it because Wondery won’t let me access my subscription through the Apple Podcast app.

When starting a podcast or trying to pause it (as well as then play again) the app is almost non responsive to the touch of the player interface. Really frustrating. So much so that the $55 I’ve just formed out for plus is basically money down the drain as I won’t be continuing to use the app. Very disappointed. UPDATE: all actions are very unresponsive and lagging so much so that it makes the app unusable. Also, no option to create playlists from your download library.

They don’t use the proper APIs, so no suggested password or auto complete options. I’m done making up passwords, so I’m done with this app.

I subscribed because my favorite podcast offers as-free and exclusive content. I’m about to cancel because the app is declining. Playback did not work for a recent episode, and it’s currently struggling to download the latest exclusive content. I only subscribe for one podcast (New Heights), so subscribing doesn’t justify for one podcast.

I tried switching from Spotify to Wondery to listen to my favorite podcast (Armchair Expert). After a few episodes, I’m going back to Spotify. I was constantly fighting the play functionality. Podcast would not reliably start when I hit play. Such a basic thing. The UI is also not as clean as Spotify.

Wow - I just tried this app to listen to my daughter’s favorite podcasts and I can’t believe how hard it is to search, like, save, bookmark shows or episodes. I canceled my free trial 15 minutes after trying to use the app!

accidentally mash an unknown button…. F you. I hate this app. Once you, or the rain kicks you off your location, you’re f’d getting back. It’s like quickbooks and USPS had an unwanted bastard.
