This is a security app and should not fail at loading or recording, but it happens several times per week. It was good years ago, now is rubish!

Waste of money
Don’t waste your money with this garbage, I’m partially disabled and my wife got these surveillance cameras (3 and a door bell camera) to help me so I didn’t have to check the mailbox or doorbell for nothing, but with these cameras almost every time I have to check out something with them they are offline and rebooting and a lot of times I have to power them off and then restart them so they are actually No Help at all. I also wasted money on the memory cards that only worked for a little while and now the cameras don’t recognize them ! Garbage!

Please roll this update back. The new e version is horrible. Add this to the fact that I haven’t been able to view playback on two of my five cameras. I’m ready to switch to Ring or Blink. Long Time user ready to bail.
Sketchy out of town viewing
I purchased Wyze security camera’s specifically for when I was away from home. Seven cameras total. It is a rare occasion that I am ever able to view my cameras while away, with only a notification that the internet connection is not sufficient. Even while connected to a 5g network with all my cameras set at 360p. Searching the issue on the internet I discovered that this is a common issue with multiple Wyze customers. If Wyze doesn’t get their act together they stand to loose a large customer base.

Cameras will not stay connected to network. I have to reset them multiple times a day. I’m using Wyze cam pan v2. Not impressed. I’ve sent reports to Wyze and have received no response.

App update is horrible
It was hard to imagine a more clunky un user friendly app than the old Wyze app. With the update….. I don’t have to imagine. They took everything that was ok with the old app and replaced it with difficult and unuseful. I love the Wyze products. I hate the app… it almost makes me want to change to another company.

New app is junk please revert back to old app.
New update screwed up my display
The new update messed up my display settings in scale app. When I go to history, my timeline is now dark and doesn’t accept app “light” setting. I need to change my phone setting from dark to light for the app setting to work. Please fix!! App was working great prior to this recent update.
Poor Quality Control - Don’t Upgrade
Love the cameras and company. But they’ve grown so quickly their quality control has dropped significantly and therefore so has their reliability. Latest update has many issues and the most and I definitely recommend not upgrading until an update is released. Better to wait a few weeks or a month to see feedback. You can’t rollback which has always been a aggravating thing within Apple iOS.
