The replay feature still skips around. You can set it to a specific time to view but if you watch it for more than about a minute it will just skip to a different time of day making the feature near useless. This is negating the value of having the cameras to begin with.
I’ve used these since Gen 1 and they are great value, but I’ve never had so many problems with software. It’s so unreliable and buggy! That, mixed with Wyze poor response to their security leak is what stops me from updating my gen 1 and 2 hardware. I’ll pay for something better soon.
I have turned off all notifications and still get spammed every day or two with promotions. I’ve had enough and I’m looking to change to a different company.
Hi could you guys please fix the camera playback it keeps going to different spot since the latest update it is like I want to look at the camera and I choose to go to 1 and it goes back to like 2 or 3 could you please fix it or I am keeping it at one star
Ever since the last update the playback timestamps seem to be screwed up. When you skip back and forth in time it seems like the replay is not in proper chronological order, skipping back and forth, typically at the exact point you need to see an event. I have only noticed this since the latest update. Also I am using a brand new iPhone 15 and the computational load of the app makes it very slow. Older devices this is more evident. Otherwise it’s been really great, it’s just this last update.
It’s mostly okay. But for the past month or so, the live steam takes forever to load. I have the latest firmware, but wish I didn’t. It worked much better before. They really need to look at their quality control and UX.
Since the most recent update (with the new app logo/ skin) the streaming has been really glitchy. The stream takes multiple attempts to load and is constantly buffering. This was not an issue prior to the update.
Like many tech companies, Wyze makes it difficult to raise a support ticket and provides no direct means of doing so. UN-like those tech companies, Wyze asks us to pay money, so don’t get surprised about your high return rate.
The v3 app is a step backwards in terms of useability. The new home page is poorly designed, with only two cam live feeds visibility. Those live feeds are always ‘connecting’ and never load.
Used to be great. Each update has made it worse and worse to the point where it’s no longer usable. I’ll have to upgrade my cameras and I do pay for subscription.
