the best so far
I’ve tried a few different brands incl. google am and am most satisfied with Wyze. I placed one camera outside in a bird box/nest and another in an electrical room at a remote solar power plant. Both cameras are stable and reliably sending continuous feed. No connection issues. Resolution is good. The microphone is the only negative.. sound of background noises can be disproportionately loud and poor quality. I would/do recommend this camera/brand to others.
Cool cams - if working
Wifi cams connected via cloud sounds great. But since the cams only show offline while they are actually accessible with very limited functionality and Wyze service does not reply my queries this has become a rather useless tool. Improvement based on customer feedback could be a solution…
Money grab!!!!!!!!
Without paying camPLUS, you are not able to see the recent event by videos. Only few pics will be showed. I don’t want to support this company’s business model and I will get myself a new one from the other brand. The reason for having a outdoor camera is finding clues from film when something bad happens.
Honestly, neither software nor hardware is good.
I’ve had a few of each camera now since they started and gone through all the upgrades with the app. It’s toys all of it. Can’t trust it and they also don’t trust you. Outages, bad upgrades, stupid ideas for retention schemes, bad quality cameras (even looking at price) and much more. Really stay away. Far.
Wyze is a mistake

The app has gotten a lot worse over the last year. Just constant bugs.
From Hero to Zero
The latest changes made my Wyze Cam v1 completely obsolete. No event recordings, no notifications even though I have a completely empty micro SD card inserted. Yes, Wyze, my iPhone and Wyze Cam App settings are correct. I use this Cam since 2017. Support recommending me an article for a service I can not use with my v1 Cam. At this point, I have to throw away my Cam. I absolutely not buying Wyze products anymore. Sooner or later, they change something in their system to get you spend more and more money on them. It is time to move on. 0 Stars
