Please fix the crashing

BeaLundy on

I’ve been using this app for years! I love it and recommend it to anyone looking for a running app. However, twice this week, my app has crashed when I’ve nearly completed the workout or just as I finished. It’s so frustrating that my workouts are just fine! Please fix this - the app is definitely worth 5 stars but not while this issue persists.

I love this app but y’all gotta fix these issues

I have used this app on and off since it first came out. I never completed the entire training (but that’s a me thing not a you thing). BUT my sister and I decided to start training together (2 workouts apart, 1 workout meeting at the park between us.)we both have iPhones…she finished the first workout and the app crashed as she was opening it to complete her workout. I was on my second workout when I went to reopen the app to complete my workout and the app crashed. In both instances our workouts were lost as you can imagine is quite discouraging especially when you’re first starting out. If you check the apps known issues it says that the app crashes near the ends of runs if you have many run logs saved WELP, I had *one* log saved and in my sisters case, she had ZERO. Please fix this issue! It’s so discouraging. I want to be able to keep using this app for training!

For now 4 stars if I like I’ll come back

I’m a trash man I hold on to the back of what is essential a giant compactor on wheels I call mine the rot wheeler and the sister truck tossed out the motto is picking up is our business and business is picking up so I’m gonna give this doo hickey of a game a run for its money as I’ll be starting off at a higher level of motion as most of my routes are houses so I run and run and run alone today I ran 16000+ feet in 6 hours and did 136 miles 80 feet of which is my own movement jumping in and out of the truck and landing gracefully like a feather floating to the floor only through my workload daily and I stop for nothing except garbage money police and sweet old ladies with soda and candy bars comeback for more story as I’ll edit my adventure in and tell the tale of whether i outran the mass or not and if I’ll survive a real apocalypse or not with my awesome broom sweeping skills and shiny sunglasses blinding attack stay tuned

Not always accurate

Mo_leto on

I really enjoy the variety in drills this app provides, and love that each day there’s a different part of the story. I always do this on a treadmill, though, and have my phone on the stand rather than in my pocket because I like to keep track of the time. 1 - even though I have the settings to track steps rather than GPS the app doesn’t believe I’m going anywhere because my phone isn’t in my pocket. 2 - some of the descriptions for each day aren’t what is actually done each day. For example, week 6 says run 12 min but it’s actually walk fast for 5 and free form run 7. Week 6 day 1 has you run 7 min walk 2 min twice but the last 7 min run is actually 8 min. Sometimes the amount of time that is noted isn’t accurate. These are all things I can get past but still simple annoyances to fix.

I am a runner!

Just completed my couch to five K program final mission ran entire five K with out walking! When I started I could not run for a full minute. I am so thankful for the creators of this app and very proud of my self. If you are thinking of trying this out, do it! Fun story which lays some ground work for the actual zombies run app. Trust the process, even cheat a little if you need to, repeat a mission if you need to ! But trust the process. The final mission was extra cool as each of the characters come to congratulate you. I loved this app, now on to Zombies run!

Can’t log in

I typed in my email and it won’t let me create an account. It won’t tell me what I’m doing wrong. I can’t use the app. It’s useless. Don’t bother.

Still no Apple Watch connectivity?

If there’s any app that cries out for Apple Watch connectivity it’s this one. Hard to believe that’s still not there.

Bummer

phonicfire on

Every time I use this app, it crashes at the end of my run and does not record my results. I love the idea of having an ongoing story to encourage running, which is exactly why I decided to use this app instead of the app I used prior to having some medical issues, but this decision was a mistake.

Great training, buggy interface

wlizard on

United States

The actual training is great, with stellar voice acting and a beginner-friendly program that ramps up each week. However, the menu lags so much that it takes forever to navigate to the correct training option—it can take me up to five minutes of waiting around and restarting the app (as it sometimes crashes while loading the later weeks). I’ve never had the app crash or act up once I’ve started a run, it’s just the menu.
