Le prix n’est pas indiqué à l’avance. Lorsque vous arrivez à destination le chauffeur fait son calcul entre kilomètres et nombre de minutes. Ainsi, il vous envoie son tarif.

Hello, First time in Turkey. I took the application to order a taxi in Istanbul so as not to get scammed. Result: the application announces a price between 1000 and 1200 TL. The taxi driver tells me that it will be 2000 TL. After 10 minutes of negotiation we agree on 1500 TL. A great scam. A driver who does not respect the use of the application and cuts off his meter. Impossible to contact the app

Le 30 mai 2024 j’ai appelé le taxi par application. Depuis l’aéroport pour un hôtel à 5km. Le chauffeur n’est pas arrivé. Je l’attendais depuis 30 minutes avec l’enfant. J’ai pris un autre taxi. Et là, sur l’autoroute le premier chauffeur Hussein (je crois c’est son nom) nous a arrêtés et a hurlé pendant 10 minutes. Il exigeait que je sorte du taxi avec mon enfant et mes bagages. Il nous a poursuivis jusqu’à l’hôtel. Le compteur montrait 281 lires turques. Ce qui ajoute encore le temps qu’il nous a retenus sur l’autoroute. Surtout il est interdit de sortir du véhicule en autoroute et faire prendre le risque à l’enfant. Et le premier chauffeur m’a exigé de payer 15€. Je lui ai dit que c’est 10€ maximum. Il n’a pas pris de pièces en monnaie non plus. Qu’en papier. Et il m’exigeit de lui donner mon téléphone. J’ai refusé. En plus il a mis sur l’application comme si j’ai payé 370 lires. Il m’a dit que 15€ c’est correct. C’est du vol et le harcèlement des clients. Surtout avec les petits enfants !!! Ce chauffeur est très dangereux pour les gens! J’ai écrit au service client. Et vous savez ce qu’ils ont fait ?! Rien !

We took a taxi through this app to go from the city center to the Istanbul AirPort. The taxi driver wanted to charge us twice the price that was mentioned in the app. When we start to bargain, he cancelled the trip and told us that cancellation was done automatically When we propose to withdraw cash in the airport, he told us that there was no ATM in the airport. We were feeling very unsafe as he kept speaking in the phone with some guy and ask us for our crédit card numbers. He finally demand us to pay 2179 TR by card which is more than twice the price we were expecting to pay. As a family with a 1 year old baby, we felt very unsafe during this trip. We use those apps to travel safely with a fair price, and this expérience was a huge disappointment. I can provide the licence plate if you contact us and I can send you the proof of payment as well. I think it would be fair to have a compensation for this highly disapponting expérience
