Credit card not working

Beret Y 34 TET 61 This driver scammed us. The driver said the credit card machine through the Bitaksi app wasn’t working so he asked us to let him run our card in his machine he had with him. To do that, we had to change our payment method to “pay with cash” on the app. We should have insisted that if we were to say that, we’d pay with cash, but in addition to the language barrier, he was very insistent that he not take cash. I figured it was a weird legal thing maybe, but he had to run our card three times before it worked. I got a text message from my bank the second we got out of the taxi saying my card had been attempted twice for $300 (and declined both times). So he only ended up getting the appropriate fare amount of around $6, but I had to have my card canceled due to the fraud attempts. The app should allow you to report a driver, but I couldn’t figure out how. The app also does not let you do anything other than leave a review for the driver, but once you’ve left a review, you can’t change it.

We got a cab and the license was 34 TKN 22 in the app but the car license was different. The price was between 115 to 130 but he asked us for 800 and he threatened us. When we used cart to pay, we have noticed we payed 890 because of the commission. As a tourist I wont get a cab using this app anymore. It is not safe at all… We tried to submit this through support but even that part is not working and showed us an error.

Even though the app calculates your route and follows where you go via GPS, it still has the driver manually enter the fee at the end of the ride, so the driver can still try to rip you off. The whole point of an app like this is that it simplifies the task of getting a taxi and thwarts dishonest cab drivers. Until the entire trip is handled automatically within the app, including all aspects of metering, charging, and payment, so that the driver can’t manipulate the fee, there isn’t really a difference between being scammed by a taxi driver and being scammed by a taxi driver who uses this app. Uygulama rotanızı hesaplasa ve GPS aracılığıyla nereye gittiğinizi takip etse de, sürücünün yolculuğun sonunda ücreti manuel olarak girmesine izin veriyor, böylece sürücü yine de sizi dolandırmaya çalışabilir. I thought I would use this app to help reduce the amount of scammer taxis I encounter but it actually makes them WORSE. Watch for when they pretend to change it to cash and keep both payments. Or when they demand both payments and then somehow STILL change it back to say that you owe AFTER you pay them cash, whatever amount of cash they put in too; you have to watch them even more carefully

Its a scam, the support team dont respond to any questions and they encourage scams action done by drivers. Simply go for Uber!!!

Umarım türkiye de de böyle bi uygulamaya geçilir. Hem kadınların bu işi yapmasının önünün açılacağını ve yine kadınlarımızın tek başına yolculuk yaparkenki güveni sağlanmış olur. Umarım yakın zamanda bu uygulamayada getirilir.
