ClassPass: Fitness, Spa, Salon

After a trial period the app charged me automatically. The basic subscription is €70. I got 40 credits which is about 4,5 activities per month. It’s not worth it. To expensive, all time slots at the studios are limited. So you have to choose from the most unpopular time.

The service providers in Madrid area are not using ClassPass properly. I’ve made several reservations and those have got canceled as the app was not up to date. Moreover, the studios dont open spots on ClassPass and some classes appear always full, even though they are not. What is also disappointing is the subscription model: subscription cannot be canceled during the trial period and that cause me to pay extra 50 euros for a service I did not want. I have never experienced such with other subscription model services.

The app is great but the customer service doesnt work. I have requested for help several times and all these times I have gotten a promise from a CS to get answer back by email but I never do. Until this day I have not received a response. Every business should have a working customer support…

The most amazing app out there

Toista kuukautta käytössä enkä vaihtaisi pois. Voin käydä useilla eri saleilla oman aikataulun mukaan ja kokeilla eri lajeja ilman tarvetta sitoutua yhteen. Salivalikoima on rajallinen mutta ainakin oman käytön aikana laajentunut jatkuvasti. Mukana on myös hierontoja ja kasvohoitoja, joita en ole itse vielä kokeillut. Huomaa, että appi on kehitetty Amerikkaan eikä Suomeen eli sen puolella olisi vielä töitä tehtävänä. Esim. kaikki hinnat on ilmoitettu hinta+tax (todellisuudessa ei Suomen hintaan kuitenkaan lisätty mitään, onneksi). Tilaajana saa käyttöönsä myös Classpass Go appin (erillinen appi) jossa on valikoima ohjattuja treenejä venyttelystä ja mindfullnesista juoksuun ja lihaskuntoon. Olen todella laiska omaehtoiseen liikuntaan, joten ääniohjatut treenit ovatkin suureksi avuksi.

In my city (Helsinki, Finland) the selection of studios is not very broad - moreover, some of the studios in reality don’t even offer classes (or haven’t shown any options in the reservation calendar for the past 1-2 months). This is dissappointing, because the idea itself is great and there are a couple of nice studios that I like to visit occasionally. By lowering the prices the quality-price ratio would be significantly better. Also, after registering to a class the app sometimes offers you an opportunity to invite a friend to join you ”for free” - turns out that in reality, the person invited also has to register (and either start a free month or pay the month fee if they’ve already used the free month offer). This is really misleading, and again, very dissappointing.

No studios in my city...
