Installed and activated with sms, worked for 5 min then said that it needs to be unlocked by customer service. More than 2 week of waiting, 1 email and 3 times their form filled in with only 1 abysmal reply I finally called. 20 min waiting, then a friendly person telling me to uninstall and reinstall as they need to send the exact minute of installation and the phone model to their IT department to unlock. Ridiculous for an app to need this but if you find yourself in that situation the only way is to call as they also need your account info - and of course you can’t do secured uploads because you’ve been locked out.

DKB is an innovative app by German online banking standards. Great for managing your Euros. DKB was also the only bank I could open an account online from abroad (USA) and via video verification. Nonetheless some stuff is cumbersome, like opening an account with your partner. Also, some text is difficult to comprehend and awkwardly written. Needs some clean-up by a German limguist

Ich finde es nur etwas schade dass es nicht eine Art „Fake Spaarbuch“ gibt wie z.B bei Comdirect um bestimmte Spaar-Ziele zu erreichen. Damit man das Geld zur Seite legen kann und man kann es weglegen und „vergessen“.

Face ID for logging in suddenly stops working when outside the country, meaning when I need the most to be able to login

Simply the worst login experience ive ever seen. Bravo. Also why in this modern age do you purge transactions older than a year???

This is by far the easiest and cleanest bank app I’ve ever tried! Great job 👏🏼 One thing you could improve is contact list management. Instead of “repeating previous transactions” you could just have a proper contact list with nice bank logos and whatnot. Feels odd to search for X person and then editing the previously sent amount.

I enjoy banking with the DKB. Everyone is very helpful when you have questions. Fast and easy service.

In which universe do we still have to take down apps for maintenance? And then it’s going to be down for hours. It’s unacceptable that I cannot use the service 24/7, plus this doesn’t give me a lot of confidence in your technical prowess.

DKB und Software gehen nicht miteinander. Login funktioniert nicht. Muss jedes Mal neu durch den Verifizierungsprozess.

After switching to new phone and porting us-number i could not activate app. 6 weeks in now app & support of dkb is just pointless…
