EconomyBookings – Car Rental

It’s not about app but it also could be more user friendly, anyway it’s different story. Overall i got a car but it was huge issue with an insurance where i spent extra money for new insurance from car rental. I booked a car via economy bookings on Madeira with full coverage insurance as i do always because don't want even to think about any possible damages, theft or whatever. Story started when it i was at pick up desk of rental company where i was asked if i want insurance coverage. I was surprised of it but long story short. Economy bookings did fraudulent action and giving misleading information where they stating that car was booked with full insurance. In fact it was third party insurance with excess of up to 1700EUR that's what "Full coverage" for economy bookings and that's what i think misleading. Eventually i had to buy a real full coverage insurance from rental company. I tried to explain my case to economy bookings my case and that i want my money for insurance, that's the only answer i got "As you have taken our Full Coverage option, your excess is covered by this product in case of an insurable event up to a maximum amount of 1 700 EUR." and then they started ignoring me. Awful experience of the support, fraudulent car insurance policy of the company. Will never do it again and not suggesting because at the end the prices at the company which i rented were the same but the process much more transparent and honest.

Don’t use this app.. Might be usefull to search for the cheapest car, but when you need to cancel the reservation they just keep your money. E-mails remain unanswered, response to social media postings are systematically removed (and poster blocked). I have been waiting for a refund of almost 170 euros for over a year now.. Would be a good thing if Apple would ban this app (and company) from the App Store to prevent people from being robbed!

1) The app does show I am logged in (it shows my login ID) but when I press My Bookings no bookings are shown. But they were confirmed my e-mail (same account name). Only after a few minutes the app realises I am not logged in. So it’s a bug. After logging in, correct bookings are shown. 2) when starting the app the only option you have is to search based on a location. But you can’t directly access your account, you should search first. Strange UX glitch.

A few bugs like: “contact us” - after filling in all details, there is no send button... Not enough information like: kilometers limit..

Не оплачивайте вперед. Под любым предлогом вы машину не получите. Деньги удержат. И возврат не сделают. Потеряете время и деньги. Обходите стороной. Проверено.

Сделайте фильтр по негативным отзывам и почитайте их. Всех кидают на деньги. Хвалебные отзывы заказные

Машину отказались выдавать, деньги не вернули. Потребовали сразу 2 кредитные карты(что не было написано в условиях). Машины нужной не было, предложили другую, но не выдали, и деньги не вернули(160 евро)

Почему компания мошенник до сих пор существует и продолжает грабить клиентов? Как сделать так, чтобы директора оказались в тюрьме? Такие как они не должны существовать! Деньги никто вам не вернёт, не обращайтесь сюда!
