The app can be very slow at times, when selecting selects the page to complete the payment never loads, so you end up getting a random seat

Seems to work poorly for everything other than booking a flight ticket. I experience several problems with the functions related to my Etihad Guest account.

The app is hopelessly slow and gave us inaccurate information during a flight from Copenhagen to Tokyo that was first cancelled and the following day so delayed that we missed our Etihad Connection from Abu Dhabi to Tokyo. The app only caused confusion to an already horrible journey. Don’t rely on this app.

Etihad is claiming they collaborate with Turkish airlines and KLM. On the way back from Chennai to Amsterdam it was not even possible to use our Platinum cards from flying blue or Star alliance. The online checkin is a disaster! I had to call to be able to change the seats to exit seats. The exit seats are charged 38 euros each despite our memberships. I am silver member with Etihad guest additional to platinum cards with flying blue and star alliance!
