How unfortunate that the app requires iOS version 16 or above to function. Older iPads like mine don’t let us update to that version and I am not going to purchase a new iPad just for this as all other apps I need still work and the iPad itself works fine. You’d think that an app for books would not be so complicated that it requires the newest versions.
Since yesterday I suddenly cannot read or listen to books anymore on Everand. The app tells me that there is a problem with my connection, that I should check it and try again. All my other apps, however work, as does the internet connection. My credit card hasn’t expired since June, so I must have entered the information of my new credit card then, don’t you think? The app works neither on my iPhone (with iOS 17.11.), nor on this iPad (iOS 16.6.1). I cannot use my Scribd app either. ”Home” doesn’t work, nor do ”Top charts”, ”Search” or ”Account”. For some reason I can access my ”Saved” lists, but I cannot open any of the books on them. Please, advise!
I found 1 out of 8 really classic books that ive been looking forward to read, so quite terrible collection they have. You cant even save the search settings so you have to set language filter between every single search to get rid of all of the foreign content. Terrible experience and I wouldnt recommend this to anyone
I have terminated my subscription more than two months ago but Scribd still keeps charging me. Customer support says the problem is at iTunes’ end and refuses to refund. But iTunes only shows the subscription expired two months ago and nothing else to terminate or refund. The actual service is fine but this feels scammy.
Tried the 30 day free trial. I cancelled the trial the same day and month later they still charged me. They just steal your money.
This should have a lot of zero or freezing stars because of untrustworthyness after it has your money. Never even try it 🤮
The book selection is decent for the price. I previously had issues with search and loading categories but those work fine now.
They advertise it as unlimited, but after listening to a few books every title became “unavailable” until my next billing period. Apple should ban them from the app store for such scam.
After I updated iPad system, system don’t accept my bank card and I cannot normally use this app. How do I unsubscribe it?
The app keeps constantly crashing. Can’t read anything anymore.
