I have subscribed for the app but the app is still asking to pay for subscription even the amount is deducted from my account i have wrote to the customer care and raise the tickets still no response from them.
You have to remove. It’s very annoying while reading any book and it doesn’t do anything. It’s a useless feature added there is no update and no fix for that. It’s been more than a month. It ruins the reading experience. Please remove the fixed slider.
Scribd got acquired by idiots, who are not shy when it comes to ruining a once great reading experience. Among other annoying things, they’ve put a fixed slider on top, which makes it impossible to read the first couple of lines, but that’s it. It does absolutely nothing else when reading.
Light theme not working properly
Initially we have scribed and I took subscription and it is said that Scribd now Everand, now you separate them for having multiple subscriptions is not a good practice
Both home and e-books screens are blank, with an error ‘there is a problem with your connection…’. However, Audio books page fetches available audio books and e magazine works as well There is not problem with my connect as I am able to use all other apps, including YouTube to access content. Please address this issue.
I have been subscribing to Scribd (now Everand) for years (probably since they came up with Ebooks and subsequently audiobooks). I find the basic experience of searching and accessing audiobooks so clunky that’s its super demotivating. This is across platforms (iPhone iPad ) - same terrible experience. Maybe it’s the transition from Scribd to Everand (which I can’t even understand why ) that has broken the UX. Please please fix it
I completely forgot why I dislike this app from the bottom of my heart. The books which are previously available will disappear after you listen 2-3 books and miraculously available back in your next pay cycle. Why you guys even claim it’s a free app when the books just go unavailable after 2-3 listen? Kindly provide the refund of all the money I wasted here.
Fair Usage Policy is horrible ; never get to read books you want
good collection but buggy app. Will be switching if no update roll for them. Widget missing sometimes audiobook doesnt buffer need to close the app. sometime background doesn’t work. StoryTel in better in these aspects
