I am trying to remove notifications of messages in the red dot on my hotels.com application. I have tried to use the chat box but once I advised my issue I was frozen out of a conversation. I then tried to ring hotels.com but because this is not booking related there were no appropriate options. This is shocking customer service. I need help but these days even as a Gold member service or help for my issue is not available. Very very frustrated by this along with the lack of upgrades and “special offers” when using hotels.com is making me question whether I should change my accommodation provider. Let’s see if I get a response!

We had an ok time here without it being exceptional. It is obvious from the moment you walk in that this place is being run on a shoestring budget, without adequate staff and without sufficient capital. Our room smelt of fresh paint when we walked in and I considered that a good sign. However the quality of the paint job was terrible. With paint splashes on walls, tiles, windows and carpet. Major runs in the painted doorframes and overpainting in every corner. Honestly, my 86 year old blind uncle and his three deaf dogs could have done a better job. If you are travelling independently, I hope you don’t have the misfortune to arrive at the same time as a tour bus (their major clientele). If you do you will be waiting over an hour for the inadequate number of reception staff to process you. Then you will be battling the backlog waiting for the tiny single working lift. This place promises so much with its grand marble foyer and faux art deco public areas. However until staff numbers are lifted and staff are adequately trained it will only ever be a sub-three star motel masquerading as a 4.5+ star hotel.

My wife and I stayed for 7 nights, and really enjoyed our stay. Staff were very attentive and helpful, Patty for breakfast and Giuseppe on reception convinced us to get the bus back to the airport and also organised a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early. Great view from our balcony and short walk to Costa Umberto. Bed could be a bit longer and softer otherwise 5 stars 👍🏼

Be careful. We have been using Hotels.com for many years and are a Gold Member. The last 6 months have been terrible. They double booked and charged us for a second hotel (by the same name on the same dates). We did not get a refund after spending many hours speaking to Hotels.com. We just booked a hotel with a “reserve now and you will pay later” with a cancellation period. When we had to cancel, there was no full refund as they say we booked as a “saver” room without being refundable. This was not the case but you cannot prove it. So again we will charged. I would book at least 20 nights per year and it’s only the last 6 months this has occurred. So it’s time to find another booking service for us

Impossible to contact, won’t actually attempt to make changes and won’t address your concerns. Will never use again.

Consistently losing connection so it takes a redeem night away from you and when you try to rebook a motel, the price of the motel has gone up. This happened at least 3 times and there customer support could do nothing, other than tell me to try again after 3 hours, for then my 1 free night will have returned. I went directly with the motel and saved $85 on a 2 night booking

Amazing location right on the water, beautiful hotel, staff very friendly and helpful definitely would stay again
