Just Eat - Food Delivery

PLEASE USE ANYTHING BUT THIS APP if your order doesnt deliver they DO NOT refund. if you do not answer the first call they will keep the order and not refund you….after reading several reviews it feels like a tourist trap app.

No notification the order had arrived and customer service is rubbish. In a hotel, either leave it with the lobby or NOTIFY ME ON THE APP. Use UberEats instead. This app sucks.

The worse app ever. Ordered food and got it like after 5 hours later. Arrived cold and uneatable. Didn’t even get refund. Spend like €50, all to the gutter food.

Did not receive my food that I was waiting outside for , then they tried to put the blame on me ,and refused to give me a refund . Not only that ,but while trying to talk to the chat they just closed the chat on me mid convo. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN will I use this app!!

Orders messed up, missing items, no refund

Had my order be improper or stolen 3 times.

The restaurant did not deliver on our order and Just Eat would not return payment! Terrible customer service and very unreliable!

I have used pretty much every food delivery app in multiple countries. This is by far the worst for 2 main reasons. 1. Their interface/app itself is garbage and looks like it’s been designed by a child. They give no updates on food delivery times which can be delayed by over an hour (which is actually very common). All the app does is give you a pretty loading screen while you try to find a way to get an update on your order. 2. They blame you for the delivery driver taking your food, And not give a refund. Here’s what happened to me (which now see is not an uncommon event with this app). I ordered food normally, I waited an hour and 15 min for my food which is the estimated delivery time. I do not get my food. I contact support, I ask them what happened, they said I didn’t answer the driver’s call so he left with my food. I inform them I did not receive a call and in fact I actually do not have a phone number on the app as it stated my number is invalid. They continue to tell me how the account does have a number and that it was called. So I ask them what the number is since I cannot see it on the app. They responded with “we cannot share the number with you for privacy reasons”. Then they continued to close the chat while I was typing, this happened twice. So let’s summarize what they did. 1. Driver supposedly called a number. 2. Support lies and states I have a number on the account. 3. I ask them for proof. 4. They refuse to give proof and state a bogus reason as to why I cannot see the number in MY account. 5. They close the chat mid conversation twice. Do not use this app.

Really poorly designed app. Placed an order, waited 1 hour, no updates. Contacted customer service and they said the restaurant doesn’t deliver in my area. Wasn’t given a refund either. UI/UX people working at this app need to take some customer support 101. Without a doubt the worst food delivery app I’ve ever used.
