pure laziness and new Kodak
May have started as the safe, secure, and one of its kind applications but lately nothing as crashing, not working, and confusing app ever! Aside making incorrect labeling to devices, cannot change or delete them from profiles. Parental subscription is the worst nightmare…. Way better apps and mashed system out there from a quick glance of search. Don’t bother waste your money and time on this app.
Not stable
I have had this device for a few years now but every once in a while, the Internet just stops functioning. You do the speed test within the app and it tells you you are at +500 MB per second but on the same device in the browser less than 30 MB per second. What is this 2012 garbage?
Difficult company to deal with
Confusing account management. Security configuration is a nightmare Unreliable after a few years Can’t renew Armor (security) Netgear account management is a mess; unreliable, poor (non-existent) customer support. Netgear can’t deal with 2 separate units for 2 separate households, have to have separate email for each. The issues go on and on. “Simple message: stay away from Netgear and its half-baked products.“
Dont buy because of parental control
Parental control cost about 100 a year, but it's not working. It will show you sometime IP address but not a website. If you block website kid still can visit. Also half of the time app will not show all devices on my network and in this case kids will have full access. Stay away
Nothing but issues
I have had the Orby app and Orby router with satellite system since 2022 and it has been nothing but problem after problem after problem. I do not recommend Netgear product if this is the way it’s gonna work.
Worst app ever
Already the up took forever to open on an iPhone 16 pro. Since the 2.45.1 update, everything got even slower and constant “cannot reach server” message!
Can’t access anymore
Not really sure why I can’t login anymore. Just says login timed out every time and I even reset the router. Please fix this
Junk
Satellites stop working after 1yr no support unless you buy Netgear armor
