Since latest update to v7.2.6.31 internet has been constantly disconnecting. I’m connected using pppoe.

I've owned the RBR 750 router and satellites since approx. 2022 with little issues but over the last 6 months or so it drops the broadband signal every week or so and i need to restart. The fibre coming into the house is fine when this happens so that's not the issue. Currently running V7.2.6.31 software. Netgear support is useless and don’t reply

I don’t understand why the app has no access to advanced features such as port forwarding and so on. I shouldn’t have to use the webrowser admin at all as NETGEAR devices in the past have had this odd bug where users cannot log in with their credentials or password recovery and have to reset their entire network to access those functions. Please release a feature rich app and the ability to trigger the wireless WPS sync function through the app so users don’t have to run around their homes or have trouble accessing the web portal.

This would have been a good setup but there is always one of my two satellites which is never connected. It’s not the distance because they will switch intermittently as to which one is on or off. I can’t update via the app. Always confirms there is a problem so unsure if I’m using the latest software updates

Just after departing on holiday NETGEAR updated their App and WiFi. This took my system completely off line losing me contact with home cameras and Tado. It’s not really good enough to loose continuity at the whim of NETGEAR. This happens every so often when they make no-warning updates. The result is a drawn out process of updating the router and then satellites. If you are away you are stuffed. I won’t be buying NETGEAR again.

Keeps asking me to sign in when I open it. I crash out and open again and it’s fine (for a while). Still not optimised for the 15 Pro Max. Wish it was quicker too.

Parental control just don't work as expected. There looks to be options in the parental settings however, devices assigned to a specific profile are lost when the device is disconnected. They then reconnect on home by default. Meaning that any restrictions that have been applied to a profile is useless. EG child profile or visitors profile are useless as restrictions applied to a profile are bypassed as the default is “home”. I have tried numerous times to change the default but seems to be impossible. Also devices connected to “home” cannot be identified even when a device has a name assigned. Making is sheer impossible to find the childs device or any other device when there are 100’s of devices connected to “home” all with names with no meaning. Deleting disconnected devices is time consuming as there is no option to delete in bulk. Deleting disconnected devices can only be done one by one. I have also tried creating a “public” profile but all visitors and family are assigned to “home” by default as is every other device that reconnects to the internet regardless of what profile has been previously assigned to that device. When you assign a device to a specific profile you would expect that device to stay on that profile and not keep reconnecting on a different profile. Therefore the parental controls are useless. Having requested support multiple times, we have not received any help at all. But happy to take your money. Not good enough.

This is the most frustrating app ever…. The cat function keeps disconnecting and have to restart every time and connecting to a different agent! Sort it out please!
