It appears that this company was recently sold and the new developers pushed an update that completely broke everything in order to implement a monetization business model. I was forced to manually downgrade the app to a previous version to recover my vault. I’ve now removed all of my data from the app and switched to another provider.

Garbage app. Trash. Useless. After they got bought, all my data got erased and I had to redo all my codes again for each account I had saved. Everything got wiped

A recent update wiped out all of my data. Fortunately I still had the master key and a backup file, but the app couldn’t even load the backup file. The app gives the error “Could not parse JSON”, but I was able to unzip the file on my laptop and the backup JSON is a valid JSON file. Prior to this I used the app for years and loved it. It’s open source and I really do appreciate the work the developers put in to it. However given the recent data loss I’m not sure I can recommend it. If you do use it, make sure to save your master key and take regular backups. Fortunately the back up file is just a zip file with a JSON file in it. You can just pull the secrets from the JSON file to import your keys in to a different app.

Locked data and lost everything

Lost all keys after updating app. Sent an emailed but delivery failed. No way to recover keys.

You would be foolish to ever use this app. No longer open source. All of my OTP codes were deleted with newest update. AVOID.

I discovered when I tried to use one of my codes that all of my data was gone. Apparently this app has been sold to someone shady, but even if it hadn’t, I would never trust them again.

How can you possibly screw up the primary function of an app this badly? All of the 2FA accounts I had set up are no where to be seen, and I am clearly not the only one affected.
