I searched the internet for a secure authentication app, that worked with my iOS devices and had back up options and tried a few different options out. This app is far superior to the other ones.

I didn’t use it for some weeks, and lost literally all my accounts without doing anything. I don’t recommend.

Lost my keys, where is the update to restore them? I’m Locked out of my accounts.

Please do yourself a favor and don’t install this app. You will not be able to access nor export your codes. They have been bought by a scamware company.

Raivo was such a great app but the new owners (as of 2023) seem unworthy of being trusted with critical data. First they released an update that deleted all locally-stored keys. Recovery from an iCloud backup is still possible but not everybody has such a backup - so a lot of people got locked out. And then in the same update they exhibited their intention to add a paywall for many features; crucially, data export is now behind payments which means your data is basically held hostage should you wish to download it for backup or migration purposes. In short, I recommend not trusting this app, the developer’s response to the incident left me with no confidence they won’t destroy or hijack my data again.

I am so p*ssed off at these idiots. I just opened the app on iOS and guess what? All my authentication tokens…. All 25 of them…. GONE. This app totally screwed me over and many, many others. NOBODY SHOULD EVER USE THIS APP. Pure garbage and a scam. The useless developers do not give a F as well. I am so mad at these idiots.

The app has been sold to some greedy company and they have ruined what was probably the best 2fa app on ios. Had to switch after years. Luckily had an export of the data.

Thank you so much to the entire Raivo team. After the latest update, the app asked me to recreate my account as if I didn't have 25 passwords/2FAs on the app so I lost EVERYTHING. Thank you so much everyone, this is so awesome! DO NOT INSTALL THIS POS!

I used this app for years and it was great until it was sold to Mobime who then pushed an update deleting all of my OTP seeds. They then put a paywall on the export function for the few who survived the wipe, so they couldn’t leave. On top of that, they shut down their entire GitHub issues page after people came to them looking for a solution. Extremely distrustful of new ownership, avoid this app at all costs. There are 100 better authenticators out there.
