Refocus: App Blocker & Limits

Great app, really helps me. I love that I can set the time on how long I want to unblock the restricted apps, and than it automatically blocks again. Helps me break the cycle.

It is not made obvious in the AppStore that the app is not free to use. You go through the lengthy(ish) setup process to then find out that you only have a free trial. I don’t have a problem with the fact that you have to pay, but it would be nice if it was mentioned in the AppStore.

Works great.

Without any payments, this is the way to go. There’s a setting to make you stop and breathe when you try to stop the blocking process. I think it’s pretty great. Useful for studying or trying to sleep without that need to check apps. I’m sure I’ve recommended it to multiple friends at this point. :)

I use this app in conjunction with BePresent, and the combination is great. In the past 4 weeks, I’ve gone from 4hr30 average to 1hr10. Given, I made my phone boring by making it black & white, as well as deleting most apps, but refocus really helps with limiting your screen time. If you’re in a moment of weakness, don’t worry. Your apps will be blocked and it won’t be an issue.

The app really works! I recommend it! It helped me manage my time.
