What a bad service!!
I was using smood until a year ago and it was good service, then I switched to ubereats for better delivery prices and faster service. I recently received a discount from smood that tells me “I am missed and I should go back because a lot has changed since I left”. It is true that lot has changed. The app cancelled my order 4 times before approving… Then my order was stuck in “preparation” phase for an hour!!! Then I got a notification about a delay and when I clicked it the app was opened and the message was lost forever! I had to contact the chat and at least they can provide info about the order. I was told my delivery will be 15 mins late and the driver is on his way to pick it up. I think I should be able to access this info without writing to chat!! The order is still stuck in “preparation” by the way!! So annoying and doesn’t worth the effort at all! Even with the stupid discount!
Privacy issues
app allows to sign up with apple using hide my email, then at the check out it asks to specify phone number and after you click the button “save” it fails email validation that’s routed via hide my.
Useless, not working with VPN
Having a service not working with VPN in 2024 is not acceptable. EVERYONE should use VPN all the time especially if paying online. Hire better IT security people who can do proper risk mitigation

Nicht Smood vertrauen!!!
L’app funziona bene, ma…
L’app funziona bene su iPhone, talvolta vi è qualche bug, ma ci può stare. Su iPad non funziona in orizzontale, ma solo in verticale. Ciò è molto fastidioso e personalmente ritengo l’app per iPad inutile se non può essere usata in orizzontale. Ciò in quanto uso il supporto per la tastiera e per usare Smood su app, o giro la testa di 90° oppure non posso usare la tastiera, devo staccare l’iPad da essa ed digitare sulla tastiera virtuale. È la fine del mondo? No, chiaramente ci si può arrangiare usando il sito o tenendo il tablet in mano verticalmente; ciononostante non vedo il senso di non supportare su un app per iPad la funzione orizzontale.
Però vi è una grande pecca, ovvero non si può lasciare una mancia al/alla delivery guy/girl dopo che la consegna è stata effettuata. Non ha senso, io do volentieri una mancia, se è puntuale e il cibo viene consegnato in buono stato. Queste informazioni non lo posso sapere mentre comando, ma solo dopo che la consegna è stata effettuata, dovrei aver la possibilità di lasciare una mancia dopo.
Extremely disappointing customer service
There was an error with my order and I immediately used the complaint functionality of the app, but which led me to a website on my phone’s navigator. I uploaded a photo using the function available. When I checked a fee days later, the website refreshed and I could no longer find my complaint.
Several weeks later, as I had no news, I contacted customer support to find out what happened. The response I received was the following “I have nothing to do in this case since I do not have proof for the refund […]”.
I have since deleted the app and will no longer be using this service.
